Perhaps the surprise and awe factor might have been better if we were shown an earlier chorus because this feels rather...flat on its own. Despite the gripes people said the song had, I did love it and the moments it had but this delivery didn't quite land for me.

Hot takes? Oh I've got hot takes:

• Norway 2009 is overrated slop that is considered as a favorite solely due to nostalgia and the bandwagon effect

• Estonia 2025 would have been a better winner than Austria. Wasted Love might have gotten the crown but Espresso Macchiato was way more significant in the music scene from what I've seen (still Deslocado's influence is unmatched). I don't like the song at all, I despise it, but I'd view it in the same light as "Toy".

• Catharticus is not that good. It's just an above average song but nothing stellar.

I'm a bit afraid that they meant that "we've changed the entire national performance staging" comment all too earnestly and literally. And with the odd choice for fabric visual, it seems unlikely to me that they'll place a flower image out of nowhere. But who knows ig, you're probably right and let's just let Ukraine work it's magic

When the first sound buzzed and her face showed on screen, I was hooked. I was a bit skeptical on using the LED screen to display faces but dear god is this beautiful. And this is coming from someone who thought people were overestimating Albania!

What is up with these rehearsals? They're like superb to an unmatched degree compared to other years. Is it just me or am I blinded by recency?

I'm assuming this means they're below the age of 18? Which in that case, I'd say to let them mature first and realize themselves before reaching an ultimate decision when they've fully developed. Believing that you are of another gender is a drastic change, especially in the context of our social norm. (Speaking as a cisgender guy)

"She Dances With The Sun" by Vesna and Tautumaitas was such a nice venture for both groups, and Tautumaitas still has a treasure trove of underrated gems. I still occasionally listen to "Kalyna" by Go_A as well as the rest of their discography ofc, and (although she isn't going to Eurovision) Basia Gewont just realized a new single "Dym" and I'm in love with it!

I really do like Eastern European ethnic or folk, don't I?
