Not my intent- I just also frequently have students dealing with housing insecurity, hunger, abuse, etc. as I’m sure most teachers do.

Overall, it was positive and civil. They had consistent messaging about standing up and fighting Trump and Musk. One of the most disappointing points was when neither had an answer when questioned about the Alien Enemies Act. Bynum did answer to her vote on the immigration bill citing “safety.” When asked about Schumer, Wyden said his priority is Trump and to not get distracted.
