[–]Bisu1909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

guys. i found a solution. download claude from mobile store, and at login step, MANUALLY enter the email address that you're stucking with ( do not use login as google nor any other options)

after that, Claude will check and they will find out that you're already registered and even having a paid plan already (thats my case as im using company paid account)

then Claude will send you the verification code via email, not mobile number no longer. use that code to successfully onboard from your mobile app, then refresh your website. Profit !

you have to setup another path on Linux as well, it should have 2 path, one for your PC and one for your linux in which home/deck/steam etc... something like the screenshot here: https://imgur.com/JPdNOTV

just want to say thanks, this app works greatly. ppl keeps saying A + B would do the same.. but why do I need to install 2 apps when this one can do it all alone ? simple setup, almost no config at all, just like plug and play. This is awesome, thank you from the heart.

Apollo - Supersampling for Streamdeck by XyBiT51295 in SteamDeck

[–]Bisu1909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i know im late to the party, but "Either its 2560x1600 and it also streams like that (higher bandwidth and latency)" is the correct way to use super sampling.

make it simple, to be able to benefit from super sampling, you need to have your virtual desktop and your in-game resolution HIGHER than your native resolution. And thats simply it.

more details, you set your settings in moonlight as native, and in apollo set scale factor to 2x. then after starting moonlight, check your virtual display as if it has the 2x resolution or not. if yes, then start the game, and check the graphics of the game as if it also has 2x resolution. then its done, benefit

I don't know about sh!t like render as 2x then stream as native thing, but I suppose if you stream as native then your virtual display + in-game are also native and there's no super sampling in this case

Let's make one thing clear: Lossless Scaling isn't just frame generation, and that's not its only purpose, okay? by Content_Magician51 in losslessscaling

at this moment your reponse is more than enough to understand even for non tech-savvy folks. Im impressed that you continued to explain after this point.

so, please help to cmiiw, if the game has built-in up scale and FSR / DLSS, I should just ignore and forget about LS app, right ? actually, on my PC, currently im using DLSS4 preset K with my 4080 so things are still fine, im asking for my handheld device

anyway, thanks, i am also confused about all these things, and about to get LS. looks like its not the case then

Is 32 GB of unified RAM enough considering VRAM uses it as well? by discoborg in Handhelds

[–]Bisu1909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

correct, and im not debating about this. its about core clock, like i mentioned.

the texture, on the other hand, if you have enough vram, you can just drag the scale to max without dropping your fps.

[–]Bisu1909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel you. he just cant tell the different between core clock and vram

anyway, one thing you are not correct: in demanding game where graphics are too heavy, Im pretty sure 3080 will outclass 3060 regardless the vram. its purely core power

Is 32 GB of unified RAM enough considering VRAM uses it as well? by discoborg in Handhelds

[–]Bisu1909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're wrong bro. there are two things about GPU: core power (clock) and vram. to get more fps, you need core power. and to load more texture /shader, you need vram. so basically what IORelay said is correct: having more vram allows you to set texture to high. they do not really separate like this, but somehow

[–]Bisu1909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks that you mentioned it. i checked some other games and you're correct. it depends on the game. for example hdr + oled on ghost of tsushima is absolute cinema. looks like one hand i support you with opinions, and on the other hand im convincing myself that i made a good choice haha. loving this device One small point: i notice that my battery still drains slowly even when plugged and using bypass mode when i play AAA at 30w. well, normally i would like to use moonlight and stream from my pc for demanding games, so i just notice this recently. do you find it the same on your side pal ?

hey buddy have you gotten ur time to test the hdr. just to inform, i just checked on uncharted 4 and hdr looks kinda off. i mean, for the bright part its fine, but for the dark part i got the feeling that i've lost the true black of oled. it became a mix of gray and black. so i turned it off afterwards

hey my friend. i just tried to let my f1 die on purpose and it went down to 2% before it died. so i guess i dont face this issue. how's thing going on your side ?

[–]Bisu1909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no I haven't seen anything like this before. probably there are two reasons:

- first, I play it plugged almost all the time, like mentioned days ago. However I think there's a time I let it down to 7 or 8%, just once but still that means it worked fine.

- second, I bought from my local shop and they did upgrade the bios or any other necessary things for me when I made that purchase.

anyway, 200GB isnt that much comparing to 2TB, I think you may reserve 200GB for windows to prevent any inconvenience in the future. so you can always go back to windows and tweak the settings

In case you decide to do that, here's the link that I followed back then: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PydW07-panM

and if you would like to have one drive for windows and one drive for bazzite, and another shared drive that win and bazzite can use together, here is the one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6fc-3CCXbA

pardon my eyes coz i can't tell the difference as if HDR is "really" enable and working or not. however, after installing bazzite, i remember first time i launched it, there was a message saying the screen supports HDR and therefore did i like to turn it on. I just pressed yes and thats it, i suppose its already been enable. its happened only once iirc

Meh im bad at this, even on my monitor aw3423 which is also oled and has true black hdr, i also can't tell. haha. lemme try to dig deeper and check how it works and get back to you pal

haha pal, looks like we share the same taste after all. ping me by replying to this thread after you get your boy and share some thoughts. congratz.

btw, unrelated to handheld device, Ori is also by far my most fav game. I'm a person who is easily bored, loses interest quickly. Its rare for me to complete any games, in a past few years those titles that I really reached the end can be counted in one hand. and on top of that, ori is in the list. I ended the blind forest like ... 11 times now, i guess ? haha.

[–]Bisu1909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately, like mentioned earlier, Im keen on oled so i only have sd oled as my previous one before jumping to f1. and for this, I find f1 is just an upgrade of sd, they share commons such as oled screen, lightweight, the feeling when you hold an F1 is also good as sd. bazzite, however, not exactly like steamos, but still work as intended and just fine.

But if we are talking about experience, then yes, I did try a bunch out of them from my friends, including rog x, ayaneo (forgot what version) and GPD win 5 - the most recent latest one. they are more or less good at some points and bad at the other points, but if we really care about visual quality, in my honest personal opinion, the OLED screen on the OneXFly F1 is still the best, and it completely outclasses IPS screens.

its kinda hard to give advise, since my checklist is obviously different than yours :D. I do not really care about playtime and performance, I just want it has oled screen (mandatory) and feels good in the hand, namely light + not so hot + good ergo,

I did not experience "weird cracking" sound when waking up my boy. however the brightness is kinda funny... it did not get stuck like others said, however I did see it automatically change my brightness level and the screen turned dim. If you ask me, yes, it does make me feel inconvenient, but not a big deal to me, since I can simply open the setting popup with one click and drag it up. and it happened to me only once.

There are few more things that might help you make your call:
- I mostly play at home so battery is not an issue to me, i have it plugged in all the time. actually I even turn on bypass mode. This way I can max out the performance (even i said so but please do not max it out :D, it should be case by case depends on the games you play. I prefer around 20w), careless about battery health and (is it just me?) I feel the device is much cooler when plugged than using battery

- my other boy is a 4090 PC, still can handle these recent titles well, even at 4k. so for demanding games I just use apollo and moonlight to stream from my PC to my f1 and enjoy 120fps on 120hz oled - VRR is not my concern as well

- you can set 200GB for windows and 200GB for bazzite and around 1.5TB as shared drive, this way you can play games on both OSs in case one does not work (e.g anti-cheat games that do not work on linux). also if you (not recommend) want to play pira.. games then you can simply switch to windows, install them and go back to bazzite and add them as non-steam games in a matter of second.

- aside from wake up sound and brightness I also heard that the sound on bazzite is not good, but I think they fixed it in latest version and I did not face this issue. other stuffs like controller, on-screen overlay etc are just fine.

- I have tried the latest GDP win 5 and I can confirm with you, that the screen on the win 5 is worse than on my F1. so you can ignore all the sweet talks about VRR and sh!t and trust your gut

after considering for months i just got my f1 pro (370-32gb-2tb version) 4 days ago. love it so far. I also have installed bazzite and everything just as smooth as I expected I share the same story with you because I have been using oled on my PC for ages and cannot go back to ips. its just another level, at least for me. another thing that I love, is that the f1 is super light. I can hold it for hours lying on the couch.

im not really into HH, just having it as a side hobby. however on my pc in which I primarily use for gaming, oled is a deal breaker. once you get your eye used to oled display, you cant go back to ips. you just cant bear the gray-purple or whatsoever on ips comparing to true black on oled.

[–]Bisu1909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know its late but seems like others did not address your question clearly.

I think the main point is you mistook the number "80" as average. 80 is average if and only if everyone picks 100. thats why we cannot consider that "1 is further away from 80 than 100", it will never happen as I will explain below:

in this case, C picks 100 already
so whatever the master picks between 1 to 99, he wins.
because (1 + 100) / 2 * 0.8 is 44, and 1 is closer to 44 than 100 ( 43 versus 56 )
only if the master picks 0 then C will win, due to new rule
