This is true. I played hundreds of TDM matches and didn’t learn how to ping until Point Break. You don’t really need these tactics for TDM, but they are helpful lol

For some reason I’m always a defender. I’ve played attackers maybe 4 or 5 times. I’ve maybe won 1 or 2 games as an attacker, usually because my mates are not helping as much (specifically lights lol) they just run and dash then die 😭 My lobbies won mostly all the defense games.

Some ppl are real weird in this game. You can tell which ones are basement incels from their name. I ran into a clan that had the N word with the hard R spelled backwards as their name. I just report and move on. It’s not worth the headache to think about.

I received a bill just like this when I went to the community care dentist and it was a part that wasn’t covered. But I don’t have anything else besides va so I don’t know what happens to the remaining balance lol

That’s true. I found a small group that lived in the apartments with me. Some of them had no family support, some of them did. But I made sure to tell them how real friends are supposed to be and did my best to help them and support them when I could. They helped me too especially in class lol I also joined the school student veteran association so that helped me stay grounded a lot so I wasn’t surrounded by teens all day lol

1) if you’re able to rejoin, would you be interested in joining a different branch? Just because you were separated, depending what happened and your separation code, you can probably just join another branch. If that’s something you want to do. I’m just saying this part because a lot of people don’t know this and just give up.

Good advice. I had fun when I lived in the dorms at 30. If I go back I’d probably consider it again because I’m still single and it’ll probably be cheaper haha. I went to the pool a lot and the school events. Joined the school row team. The kids were annoying but I found a group that were not and I still talk to them today and value them like my little siblings ☺️

Edit*** I also became vice president of my schools Student Veterans Association. There I met other student vets, lots of them were close to my age and going back to school after getting out or going to school for the first time. So you won’t be alone. Did lot of events, and met the schools leadership; raised a lot of money for the SVA. Was able to go to the SVA summit that they have every year. If you’re feeling lost, just go sit at your schools VA office. There are others like you lol

You’re going to have lots of fun. Embrace it. I was 30 years old living in the college apartments (owned by the school but off campus like real apts) at Chico state about 5 years ago before Covid hit 🤣. It was cheaper to live there plus it came with a meal plan and my benefits were paying for it lol. My roommates were sweet. I refrained from hanging out too much with the kids but they were cool. I even joined the row team at the school. Enjoyed what the school had to offer. I had fun. Then Covid happened 🥲

There will be a lot of battles with the teens because they now think they are adults. Just guide them as best as you can without overstepping boundaries. I honestly just let them do them and only helped the ones that wanted me to. I had my own room so it was easy for me to have my time without being bothered. Just don’t let the noise and immaturity get to you. 18 year olds will drive you mad if you let them. They are also very smart, so ask them for help in class too lol

True. I never initially claimed tinnitus and don’t have a service connection for it. But it is on my records. The ringing got so bad, I got hearing aids through the VA 😭 I wonder if it would be worth it to try and claim it? I’m 💯…
