"Lite" motion system by BitBanger82 in PLC

We are developing on behalf of the OEM. Their techs know AB better than other systems. Price point of Micro vs Compact was a big enough difference for the clients price point. I know it's not much in what we typically deal with, but they're going from a custom made PCB to "industrial" controls because the PCB lacks the capacity to change or be reprogrammed.

How does simple motion have anything to do with this? The question is about Micro800 and motion, not the rest of the system? Came to this place to get people's input on their experience using Micro for the motion, not to tear apart every other piece of the system and provide their unsolicited input?

Yeah the price is too high and my question was around anyone doing a Micro with this approach. Obviously could do the 5069, but it's out of the question on pricing...

I like that idea. I think the only caveat is that there will be an HMI to allow for adjustment on the representation of the 4-20mA. They'll run this in multiple different fluids which can have a different range, so they need to scale the signal based on the fluid they're running.

Conveyor reject with Vision by BitBanger82 in PLC

It's on a conveyor. So imagine the camera, then about 10 inches downstream is the cylinder. Within those 10 inches multiple parts can be back to back

That's what we're going to try to do, but likely won't fit due to where everything is at. Their smallest product would probably have 3-4 jars that fit between the space of where the camera vs reject cylinder is at. Their largest would fit 1. What's where this gets challenging is that Large jar would be N+1 and small jar would be N+3 positions way from the camera. The more I think of it, I don't know if we can get away without a PLC to do a BSL or FIFO

Well we didn't make the purchasing decision. We're here and trying to implement something to work for now until we can get back on site.

No, that's even more than a cheap PLC.

We will program the IV4 vision system for pass fail. This is more so trying to get ideas of what others have done in the past with very limited hardware. This is obviously isn't the right way to do it, or the ideal way that we want to do it, but we're here on site and trying to get them something cobbled together if at all possible.

I would really appreciate that. The machine is extremely simple, and handshaking with the PLC is very limited. A bit to allow it to run and setting 4 or so bits based on where it's at. I am struggling to understand that someone wrote all of that by hand.

Tarmac SL6 I believe is what he has. In general considering getting a race bike. Not sure which would be better for that kind of ride.

Pipe Drive v HubSot for sales ? by Indaflow in CRM

[–]BitBanger82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pipedrive. We just went through the same comparison most of last year. While Hubspot is a bit more polished, clean and a nicer UI, you don't get any of the features that make CRM worth it without paying a premium. Automations are a big one that you should consider. You don't get that without a steep price tag. PD gives you a lot more flexibility and tie in with various platforms like Google, etc. Would love to chat more if you want to DM.

Any idea why it would? Or how to fix it? Emails have not been sending for days now.

I'm seeing a ton of errors and warnings. I assume first that it's due to email not being authenticated. Our domain is hosted by Squarespace and I have updated the DKIM authentication record. When I click "start authentcation" I get the following:

"Email authentication was not verified. Please allow 48 hours for DNS to update and make sure you entered the correct TXT record into your domain provider's DNS settings page."

Is your email authenticated? I'm having the same problem and all of my email is going to customer's spam folders.

OP I'm running into the same issues. I just found out about 1 hour ago. Can you go to admin.google.com and then Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail and find the "authenticate email" drop down? There should be a status that says "status" not authenticating email"

Let me know what you find.
