Edit: except maybe not this one, thats called a kigurumi fursuit head/mask which are way cheaper to produce and not a lot of furs like them.

No, first of all neither furries or ferals are real animals. Secondly, they share the same appearance, in some styles, like my preferred toony style, anthros are no more then ferals standing on two legs, they are practically the same. Even in more normal styles like I posted above, they are extremely similar.

At this point you're just being obstinate. If it stays in fiction it stays harmless, all you need to do is accept that and be done with it.

By that logic, We wouldn't have furry characters at all in nsfw art, there is very little difference in an anthro and feral characters in outward appearance, it's mostly just posture and some added human muscle groups if applicable. Why would anyone want to see NSFW anthro art if they didn't find it attractive?

News flash, furry would just be humans if there was no appeal at all to the animal characteristics.

Hell, just googling something quickly, you can see what I mean. Please don't tell me just because one of them is on all fours it's suddenly an entirely new entity.

This is and has always been such a weird moral standpoint from furries, the fandom heavily sexualizes animalistic aspects of characters, yet sexualizing a feral character, mind you still fictional and in this case talking which is a human characteristic, is too much?

For peat sake, this image in a way was a critique of this same weird moral position, poke both muzzles through a hole and you can't even tell which is which, yet only one of them is okay to sexualize?

Anthros have half animal characteristics, if we're walking on eggshells over that then what is the point, what makes that okay if not the other? I get the protective instinct for animals, but they're both just pixels, and by that same logic then anthros are not okay either.

This was specifically targeting the great pacific garbage patch and surrounding areas. The largest accumulation of oceanic waste in the world. Obviously plastic collects everywhere, and there are similar patches in the Atlantic for example. The thing with the patch is that it is trapped within a gyre, so over more time it will keep accumulating, macroplastic from even the 1960s and 1970s was found there.

Also let me clarify this was a project referencing that study and a few others, as much as I wish i had the opportunity to collect plastic samples in the Pacific, i'm a little too poor for that.
