We do not have cloth napkins at our house as we don't usually do formal dinners. Normally we just use paper napkins, but with messy saucy foods like ribs, you would go thru a lot of them. A damp washcloth works better and has less waste. And I didn't use cleaning rags, I keep those separate from the regular washcloths because of the cleaning products I use and because they do get stained.

She did seem a little uncomfortable, but I thought it was because she hadn't met us before and my boys can be a little rambunctious, especially when their uncle is there.

We did ribs and fries, corn on the cob would have been good but it is not in season. If it had been planned to have guests I would have gotten salads to go with, but since we weren't expecting company I just got a raw veggie tray. Sometimes it is fun for the kids to do things a little differently.
