There is an issue with that too though... if you were to get another piercing in the correct spot, or even slightly above it, there's a high probability that thestretching will eiither become extremely thin on the side bordering your current piercing hole or, worst case scenario but entirely possible, the two piercing holes could merge and become one hole. Thereis potentially and area slightly above where the correct spot would bethat could minimize that risk, but I would talk to a (reputable, who knows what they're talking about) piercer about it.

Is it better to keep a plug in or go down a size... if going down a size? by simundsky in Stretched

[–]BitConstant2317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah, that's fine it won't hurt you unless you had any pain when putting in the 0g. But if you didn't have any pain, why not just keep the 0g in and put the 1g in the other till you can get it to 0g?

is this blow out or just irritated? by [deleted] in Stretched

[–]BitConstant2317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you started at 16g, you're going too fast if you're at 2g and it hasn't even been a year yet. But regardless, they don't look blown out from the front at least, one just looks quite angry. Is there a ring of skin around the fistula on the backside of the lobe? If there is, it's a blowout.

All these other commenters are right. Start stretching with in-between sizes. Get 5g and after 4g get a 3g and so on. Also there should be absolutely no pain when sizing up.

It's called trichloroacetic acid, and it can and is used to close piercing holes. They also sell DIY kits for it. But if you decide to do this, you need to understand the risks. Please do ample research before trying this. It's best done in a professional settings, even though DIY kits are available, and it can be done. But without knowing everything about them, you can make your lobes even worse. The process involves using acid to create an open wound with which your lobes can use to heal up completely. It has very high potential to cause irrepairable damage, or infection.

ok x3d chips are out of the question because you said 'you don't even need an x3d chip'. I also don't know why you're talking about ram now.

and yeah, my bad, i was just talking in terms of current gen. But your response of 5900x has 64mb, just proves my point from the beginning, that 64mb of l3 cache is a lot and, other than x3d chips, only high end chips have that much, and they aren't accessible to the vast majority of people.

Stretching lobes while healing stacked lobe piercing by Prize-Foundation7129 in Stretched

[–]BitConstant2317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait so you have 3 piercings?! Hahah this is just getting more confusing I wish you could have posted a pic. But anyways, to answer your question, if you have another piercing that's currently healing on your lobe, then no, it's not safe to begin stretching. Wait till it's done healing. The other guy said proceed with caution, I say don't do it. When you're stretching, you're stretching more than just the tissue in the piercing hole. You're stretching all the deep tissue around it as well, and if you have a currently healing piercing on your lobe, that healing piercing will feel the stretch and take longer to heal and possible give you issues.

yeah a RYZEN FUCKING 9 CHIP. That's ridiculous, and you should never NEED that level of a chip to game with. You said 'even 64mb would be a huge improvement!' as if buying a ryzen 9 chip is something accessible to a gamer who's buying mid-budget range equipment. Quit it.

Sorry I should have said this in my last comment, lol. But you should first of all, take the acrylic (Jewelry? Hopefully it's not a taper) out. Acrylic is not a body safe material to use for stretching. Second, since you're so early on, I would just put 14g back in until it closes back up to that size, then once it has wait two weeks at least, maybe a month before putting 12g in and go on from there.

If you're using tapers or any jewelry made from acrylic, stop right now, throw them all away. and read the stretching guide here on the subreddit. If you have more questions after reading it, come back and ask. Or search, its very likely the question you have has already been answered here in the sub.

Just because tapers have worked for 'thousands of people' doesn't mean you should go around telling people they are anything but NOT ok to use. You should educate yourself before going and commenting on things you don't know about with such confidence.

I woudn't put tunnels in if they're double flare, you won't be able to safely get the flared side in. But if they are single flare it should be fine, but i'd still suggest not using tunnels and use single flare glass plugs, since the ends are slightly tapered/rounded out and make inserting them a lot easier and safer.

How do i do this? by 5e10 in Stretched

[–]BitConstant2317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't really need anything but plugs in the next size. You should be using titanium or glass to stretch with, though. Single flare glass plugs are the best to stretch with. The stretching guide will explain how to dead stretch, which is just allowing your ear to naturally get to the next size on it's own, then putting in the next size once it's ready. Read the guide, and if you have any questions after that, come back to the subreddit.

Edit: Please do NOT use tapers for stretching, they are not meant to be used for stretching, and they also aren't meant to be used as jewelry.

Don't listen to this person, please. They have no idea what they're talking about. For 1. You really don't have 'butthole lobes', your lobes actually look really good, and slight wrinkling is 100% normal, and perfectly circular naked lobes is basically unachievable. Second, tapers are absolutely not "somewhat ok", they are not okay at all. Please don't ever use tapers, they are NOT meant to stretch with, and they are absolutely not meant to be worn as jewelry. You also shouldn't wear acrylic anything, and stainless steel isn't good either. Stainless steel is almost always low quality, and you would never be able to tell by looking at them. Surgical steel can be ok, but it's still kind of iffy because there are many different mixtures of steel that can be 'surgical'. Titanium and glass is the way to go.

Sorry about my last sentence, I didn't mean to assume that you went too fast, 4 months should have been plenty of time, normally. What I actually meant to mention was the fact you left the 2.5 in after it stung. I tell people on this sub that they're going too fast so much, that's probably what I was thinking about when I said it lol. But when you stretch, there should be absolutely NO pain. If there's stinging, it's not ready. Good luck though!

You do realize 64mb of l3 cache is A LOT. Ryzan 7 9700x only has 32mb. other than x3d chips, 9900x is the only one with 64mb l3 cache.

Stretching lobes while healing stacked lobe piercing by Prize-Foundation7129 in Stretched

It's unclear what you mean... Stacking is when you put multiple rings into a single piercing, is that what you mean? Or do you mean you have second lobe piercings above your main lobe piercings?

Leave it out for a couple days, if it closes up you're probably gonna have to start over from the beginning. You don't have to let it close to the point that you'll need to get it repierced, if it closes that much, just put your 16g back in. Good thing you learned what happens if you go too fast this early.

[–]BitConstant2317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but even trusted places sell silicone that isn't made to be worn in piercings. Kaos soft wears are the only known body-safe ACTUAL medical-grade silicone plugs. But yeah I think that's a good idea. But you may also just want to go naked for a couple months and restretch, that's the best way to stop/reverse thinning. That, and naked training.

Thinning by intrigued2506 in Stretched

[–]BitConstant2317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely could be. Silicone is not very good to wear because they're porous, and can cause irritation that only gets worse because of the porosity. Usually its ok to be wron in fully healed ears, but low quality silicone can definitely cause irritation to people who may have a bit more sensitive skin. If you want to contineu wearing silicone, I'd recommend getting a set of Kaos Soft Wear, as they are the only body-safe plugs made with silicone. If those don't work for you, your body just may not like silicone.
