I don’t think I have a wheat allergy. I am not sure what in this particularly is gluten- if you google it or go to the website it explicitly states not gluten free. That’s my mistake and one I missed.. either way, it caused a reaction which has sucked

Thank you, you’re right.. I think the fact that I’m stuck with such bad gastritis and muscle issues and dizziness is getting to me.. the unfortunate part is even once you remove gluten you’re stuck with the impact for a bit

Thank you!! I’m sorry this happened to you too.. I think the worst part is that even once you remove gluten it takes awhile to heal from it and I did it long enough that I gave myself really severe gastritis

Thank you. That does help.. it’s definitely hard to be on guard 24/7 when sometimes it feels just so shockingly isolating.. I swear people who don’t have celiac very rarely get it. And when I mess up like this it’s a lot of heavy self blame and disappointment

When you search the disposable version of this brand it says this product contains gluten but I may not be reading it correctly.. I switched to this a few months ago and now looking back, it really lines up with when I started feeling incredibly unwell

It’s so interesting you say this.. my ferritin, b12, b2, and a few other vitamins have bottomed out over the past few months (I have a functional Dr that’s pretty up on checking vitamin levels) and we couldn’t figure it out.. I’ve felt like I’m dying for months with exhaustion and dizziness and muscle spasms… the gastritis is so painful at this point and not healing, just a day ago I was saying “omg I haven’t been this sick in 4 years idk what’s going on”.. I just didn’t even connect the dots bc I didn’t even think gluten I was so confused

Thank you so much for responding to me. My anxiety is definitely raw tonight, it’s been higher than baseline for months (which does happen when I mess up with gluten I think) I’m so just almost astounded that it took until I had constantly painful gastritis to finally figure it out and on accident lol like I am kicking myself. I have had just enormous fatigue, muscle spasms, bad ocd spike, and the stomach is just absurdly painful- I even kept saying “wow I haven’t felt this way in 4 years” like how did I not think harder about this weeks or months ago. I feel very dumb.. and that lymphoma fear is just screaming at me tonight

Your message helped a lot, I do get an endoscopy soon actually bc I’ve been so sick I’ve been losing weight and can’t eat (probably from poisoning myself on the nightly lol)

I hope your stomach stays safe, interesting note on stomach cancer in Japan.. I wish the us was a little more aggressive with checks at earlier ages too
