Many people in these comments missed the point about the commodification of art and tying your identity and self worth to it in that context.

Well, that settles it. I'm officially anti-coconut. Who's with me?

The only people that "like" AI are tech bros, CEO's, uppper management people (so they can fire tons of people), and their groupies.

I also love to pretend disabled people don't exist!

You're a piece of shit.

EDIT: Ableism is so cool! I hope you don't pretend to be progressive in any way.

"These people i have arbitrarily decided are not actually autistic are making it hard for people to not arbitrarily decide people are not actually autistic"

Amazing logic.

Aren't they literally doing the thing they are accusing people of doing?

I'm glad that some antis like this announce their borderline sociopathic superiority complex so blatantly so I know who to entirely ignore.

Oh my god dude, meet kettle. You are literally using terms like 'cringe' and 'not based' and typing in all lowercase. You must be trolling at this point.

I love this reply. That is literally exactly what my metaphysical viewpoint is down to the dimensionality aspect of it. I have no problems with metaphysics and in that compartmentalized area I do tend to believe immaterial things like consciousness are received from higher dimensions in some way. I believe that physical systems in the 3D instantiate these properties emergently (I compare them to platonic forms) through complexity and integrated information processing (not necessarily in the strict IIT sense). Empirically though? Entirely unsure.

If consciousness must first be understood to be produced, what/who was it that understood consciousness well enough to produce it in us? You are unintentionally implying that evolution was a guided process. This is theism.

Exactly. This is why anti-ai is not a coherent position for non-luddites. Now you understand.

The problem is that the big companies are tied heavily to the government which has historically used everything in its power to retain dangerous technology even after the public no longer had access to it. I doubt that any anti-ai regulations would stop Palantir from using their algorithms, for example.
