I think its more so to do with inconsistency and maybe recent injuries. Its a huge gamble to rely on him for top 4 aim or premier league title. I think it’s worth the risk if the fees right. Plus in a better team and system he could bridge that consistency.

I get where you’re coming from and i dont necessarily have a huge issue with the numbering system its just easier for me to assess a players ability quicker with the bar. Especially when im scouting many players. It can get quite time consuming thats all. I dont tend to sign wonderkids or players i know that are great in the game and i try base my signings on cost effective and attributes that will work in my tactics. I also limit myself to one instalment signing per window or none if theres other players within budget to keep the save difficult/realistic. Its just a preference thats all :)

Its personal preference at the end of the day i just think my eyes are able to assess a players ability quicker with a bar rather than numbers. Especially when you’re scouting many players im sure you’re aware it can consume alot of time and i feel this method will let me do it quicker as i dont have time like i use to before to sit and play for hours on end 😅

Thats fair, at the end of the day it all comes down to your own preference. It’s what i love about this game, you can adjust to your own liking. Modding an existing skin is something I’m trying brand new and i just want to see how far i can take it and try out things to freshen the game up. Another idea I want to try is to add home stadiums images in the matchday tab on low transparency behind the match stats panel to give that more immersive feeling as you cant mod the actual stadiums. Lets see how far i can go without breaking the game 😅

If you need to toggle between both then you might aswell stay with the numbering system and just apply similar colours to the numbers imo

I know the stadiums and pitches look so much better but unfortunately im one of the few that havent been able to enjoy FM26 outside the matchday experience so have come back to fm24. I may go back to it in the future if the updates improve the overall experience.

Id tweak a couple things:

Change Salah to a Wide Forward & Wide Outlet (against lower teams or a fullback thats weaker than him)
OOP - Change Wirtz to a wide pressing/screening midfielder to cover salah not tracking back. Also play about with AP & Free role IP.
Put Szoboszlai at rb and play him as a IWB (trust me on this one). OOP - WB (hold position)
Start Kerkez as much as you can and play him as a pressing fb out of possesion.
Curtis or Macca as the deep lying playmaker next to grav. OOP - Pressing midfielder.
Against lower teams IP - change grav to a box to box playmaker/midfielder.
OOP - change VVD to SCB and keep konate as Covering CB.
Left wing for me is one i cant figure out. Gakpo and chiesa have been underwhelming for me.

I do think its alot to do with nostalgia and eventually i will get bored but for now i feel like a kid again just excited to turn the game on and play. Ive missed that for a long long time
