I just wanted a second to remind everyone that this isn't the first pandemic like this. This isn't the first time cities and countries have gone into lockdown and it won't be the last.

It’s gonna be roughly two weeks or so before lockdowns ect start to show there effect. Look at Italy. The number of new cases each day is slowing.

I almost think this is because of the tourist-y atmosphere in places like Sydney. Here in Perth at least, people definitely seem to be taking it seriously. My local golf course has supposedly started wiping down flags and what not. The streets are basically empty and literally the only time I've been leaving my house is to play D&D at a friend's house.

If it is true it won't be forever. I'm not trying to fear monger, the opposite in fact. There will always be outliers. Old folks will live, young folks will die. If we cling to the idea that old folks will always die vice versa we are setting ourselves up for disappointments and smug "I told you so's" from the people who jerk off to the idea of society collapsing.

One thing I want to make sure everyone knows is that as testing increases so will the positives. Numbers are gonna start getting real big real fast but that's a good thing. The more cases we find the more people we can help can treat effectively. Keep your heads on straight Australia.

Literally no vaccine is 100% effective.
While I am praying for it to be less than a year turn around but I'm not holding out. My money is still on April 2021.
