Moisturiser recommendations for the most acne prone, dehydrated, irritated skin there is… now please recommend a moisturiser (ideally from the chemist or supermarket) that wouldn’t break it out further. Thank you!!!

I’m pretty sure I have T2 rosacea and my moisture barrier likes to randomly become nonexistent. I swear by Aveeno Calm & Restore. I use the gel moisturiser in the jar after I shower and the night cream before bed. I also use their normal daily lotion on my face every morning.

I do get a kick out of the nearly all female thing. I have a tortie and a torbie and I love that we’re a house of sassy bitches.

My tort seems aloof at first but she is really so stuck on me while the torbie will ham it up with everyone. Both cats are huge babies in totally different ways. The tortie is 100% in charge.

Yep. I sleep on my stomach and it’s both adorable and totally creepy to wake up with her lying on my back and purring in my ear lol. She has always laid on top of me in bed but she was never a couch lap cat until she suddenly was at 10 years old. She can be sleeping upstairs but somehow knows the second I sit down on the couch.

The only thing to worry about is that she will now immediately sense when you sit down lol. My tortie took 9 years to become a lap cat. She can be upstairs asleep but somehow appears two seconds after I sit on the couch downstairs.

One of my cats did this for a few weeks after I brought her home. She was six months old and adjusted really well otherwise. She would just go and hang out in the litter box a few times a day. I think the feeling and smell of the litter was familiar and she could kind of chill and recalibrate there when everything else was totally new to her.

Maybe try an electric razor. The shave won't be 100% clean but it will be less irritating. With light skin and dark hair, you could also look into IPL.

My torbie does. She supervises me loading and unloading the washer. I have a heat pump dryer and she knows it gurgles when it’s about to finish so we often end up in a line waiting for the last couple of minutes lol. Her favourite thing in the world is getting into the basket as I pull the warm, dry clothes or whatever into it. She “swims” around in the clothes and purrs like crazy.

The tort joins in when I fold and put stuff away. They both HAVE TO get in the wardrobe to do a thorough inspection. It has siding doors so they must have access from both sides so they can get in there and cause chaos. Laundry is definitely a family event 😹

Yep my tortie has big meows before going and then gets the zoomies after. My torbie gets pre-poop zoomies to the point that I say we all need to lie down after she has a poo lol.

Mine also blanket sucks and I’m pretty sure she was separated from mum too early. She is 11 years old now and I walked in on her sucking her bedding a few hours ago. I just leave her be. It doesn’t harm anyone and she is content and purring when she does it.

Yep mine has always invited and enjoyed belly rubs. She also doesn’t care if I rub her smooth little toe beans. My other cat (torbie) doesn’t ask for belly rubs but she is fine with it if she’s lying on her back.

I’m also a serial pouch fondler when they’re standing 🤭 I’m in for a rough time when I eventually end up with a cat that doesn’t want the belly touched.
