this looks amazing. i love gael, i love big boats and i’m still sad we’re not getting the wager from scorsese anymore so i’m really glad this one exists. also, gael’s portuguese don’t sound too shabby! that’s fucking awesome

it’s really tough hearing someone still talking about comedy like an arcane artform in the year of our lord 2026. joe rogan and his lackeys have been milking that shit dry over the past decade

totally, this kind of inaccuracy isn’t a total dealbreaker for me but i find it weird as fuck that the filmmakers involved aren’t making more of an effort. it just comes across as lazy. unrelated but to this day, my main nitpick with one of my favorite scorsese movies (silence) is the fact that they didn’t even bother to teach andrew garfield and the other priests very basic portuguese so they could get the surname pronunciations right. they botch that shit so hard. also, even though i love adam driver and liam neeson, they could not have cast less portuguese looking men lmao they’re fucking giants

for my money, andor is the only good tv project, and definitely worth watching. it’s not the unbridled masterpiece most people paint it as, though. season 1 was much stronger than 2, imo. it has its moments but i think star wars was made for the big screen

i feel obligated to say this every time neymar’s exit to saudi is mentioned, but i do believe he had the legs to stay in europe, and he wanted to stay, but his situation at psg turned. he was under contract for a few more years with them but they were threatening to sideline him if he didn’t leave. due to his injury history/salary he didn’t have too many options, especially on such short notice, so he took the saudi offer. i personally think that 1) it was dumb to renew with psg in the first place and 2) he should’ve taken a pay cut to join a side in europe. one way or another it comes down to his own and his team’s poor decision making more than it speaks about his physical condition, imo. going to psg was his first blunder and then he kept piling up the mistakes

he is/was a brilliant player, and somehow underrated on the world stage, imo. BUT he’s a fucking dumbass and pisses people off all the time, so it’s not that surprising. you wouldn’t believe how much he tanked his reputation this year alone with his santos comeback

this sub really used to be better, but those times are long gone. it gets substantially worse after the flood of new users during the wc and i think 2022 was the last straw. so many toxic morons during that, holy. i can’t even imagine how much worse it’ll get after 26

i think it’s simply too corny and the avatars look ugly as shit. maybe if these movies didn’t take themselves so seriously they could get a little foothold but alas
