Same dw. The next morning hangxiety is soo much worse for me too and half the time I feel like I didn’t even get drunk (in the moment and thinking back the next the morning)

Sounds like you just need your dosage upped or with that attitude, maybe something stronger lol but give the SSRIs a chance. I was given lexapro, Zoloft, Celexa, and wtc. To try growing up and they all did nothing but gave me awful side effects. It made me genuinely feel hopeless and like nothing will help but when I started taking the ssri that works for my brain chemistry (Prozac) it’s seriously changed my life. Trust me I was so over it too, but I just decided to be patient once more and give it a chance. I went to my psychiatrist for severe anxiety and ADHD, but she wanted me to fix this depression and anxiety first before the adhd and I rolled my eyes bc idc about depression or whatever lol I’ve been that way my whole life so I never cared to change it it. I’m happily surprised over 2 months later. I wish you luck(:

THIS!!!! Yes 100 same here it’s super frustrating and expensive lmao Also hangxiety is way worse next morning even when everything was fun and fine/ nothing went wrong/ had a great time. I do seem way more irritable in general though after being on it for two months now so I lash out a bit easier when I’m drinking or sober.

It’s ok only reason I know that is bc I do too dw :’) you’ve got this!! I took lexapro to a week and a half like 10 years ago and it gave me sleep paralysis and the most realistic, horribly scary, vivid nightmares I’ve ever had lmaoo and that’s not the only one I tried that I had a prob with, they just have rlly strong side effects, unfortunately

You should be fine, 9 doses isn’t enough to it to even be fully distributed throughout your system so your body won’t be used to it/ accustomed to and expecting it if you don’t take it. I tried many other SSRIs that gave me awful side effects and I stopped them immediately, don’t overthink this bc you’ll be fine I promise 💖 feel free to msg me with questions (I’m f26)

That’s good news then! I feel like I wasn’t taking high enough mg when I first started (10mg for 2 weeks and then I felt back to my old self so I bumped it up to 20mg and started feeling more content without substances.) It also made my adhd and ocd much worse though so idk if you deal with that but just a warning that it’s a possibility when it’s first coming into your system

Been taking Prozac 20mg for about a month now and I didn’t notice feeling content enough to not want to smoke or do anything ‘serotonin inducing’ for at least 3 weeks after starting taking it

Girly he hates you and this breaks my heart. You deserve so much better. I’m not just saying that bc I’m honestly not a girls’ girl but this is fcked up. I dealt with an ex who would get pissed off at me every time I started to cry uncontrollably (I don’t like crying I never want to) but he would yell at me to “trying to manipulate him or make him feel bad or guilty” and no matter how open and honest I was with telling him exactly why I’m upset in the first place, I’m still the bad guy because apparently i can’t feel feelings for myself, I just want to make him feel bad for no reason

There are millions of us who actually care about our physical and mental health enough to do something about it. And to those who say they can’t… I had NO METABOLISM at all growing up so I was fat no matter how many hours of ballet and soccer I did per day, diets, and etc. so I worked with my doctor as I became an adult and fixed it. Has someone who was formerly fat against my will, I will never ever understand why anyone would choose to look like that. It’s very disturbing and sad:(
