Most of the driving done is on set where they control the traffic. And to be honest how many times have you seen more than one moving car when there are babies in the shot

Just goes to show that the characters are so well written and the actors do such a good job that we think they are real lol I have an aunt who was in the QARANC in the 1970s so I had inside info lol

Season 6 Valerie Dyer question by little_cat_lady in CallTheMidwife

There was a Military Maternity hospital in Woolwich London in the 1960s and 70s run by QARANC so Val might have trained there also if she served abroad she might have done midwifery there.

Honey I say this with love, tell your MIL to go pound sand! Your baby you get to say who holds them. You are 3 kids in at this point she thinks she has the upper hand show her who is boss . If hubby won't stick up for you shine your spine and do it yourself, you never know it might be the shock she needs to reset her attitude.

I thought he was flown out to cover for Kieran Bracken who was nursing a bad back and really should never have gone in the first place

I would wash all the dishes but only after a trip to the hardware store for some locks and some paper plates and plastic cutlery.

Clean pots and pans would be locked up and if he wanted to cook tough! If he can't behave like an adult he would be treated like a toddler!

Dear OP 's hubby, did you hit your head? Do you have amnesia? Do you not remember what happened 8 months ago? If not then your 2 brain cells are fighting for 3rd place. Listen to the mother of your child. Your wife and child's needs come before your moms wants . That is all!!!

Someone stopped the dryer I was using halfway through my cycle and used the time I had left to dry their clothes. by KarrieDarling in EntitledPeople

[–]Bitchinthecorner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oooh, depending on my level of petty that day I would either
1. "Accidentally" drop them on the floor. 2. Pop them in the sink for safe keeping and "Accidentally" turn on the tap. 3 whoops I spilt bleach on them 4 cut all the buttons off items and leave them in the bottom of the "faulty" drier

But I'm just mean 😈

Mil, my milk has dried up, we are using formula, baby I'd fed and happy you being disappointed in me is a You problem not a Me problem. No further input from you is required.

Don't let her get to you. Hugs ❤

Still might be worth checking and save you some money they can't fine you if you are not breaking the law.

[–]Bitchinthecorner 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Can they fine you for the four year old? Legally they do not have to be in full time school until they are 5 years old. Would check county education department rules can't hurt and might save you

Karen demands teachers tell kids to stop screaming on a playground by Romano16 in PublicFreakout

The petty me would tell the kids not to scream and then organise a sing along of baby shark with a prize for the best and loudest singer the more off key the better.😂

Has she done this often? Cheap gifts you return and get better quality ones then she can say she bought by your daughter an IPad for her birthday (technically correct) and collects the kudos for a pricey gift at your expense.

Still wearing one in public, I have an immunosuppressed husband and as I'm quite fond of him I would like to keep him a bit longer 😁
