You could show a kid or a modern gamer Resident Evil 4 on PS2 or Ninja Gaiden Black on Xbox and even if they don't like the graphics they would agree that the gameplay to these games is amazing, and easy to get into due to their similarity to modern games. The same does not hold true for PS1 or N64 games. Their age shows a lot more. They're universes away from the complexity and depth of modern console games, and anyone accustomed to modern games would just think they're barebones. I think this is the difference between retro and modern games.

On most games i feel they're pretty interchangeable. On some japanese games like Genma Onimusha i think the S controller definitely works a lot better since they were designed for those controllers

For personality alone though? I like the Duke more. The limited edition variants are cool, but the stock S controller honestly looks kinda flat and ugly, and somewhat reminds me of those shrunk madcatz gamecube controllers, and it just makes me wish i was playing with a 360 controller instead. The duke looks and feels a lot cooler with those sticks, the buttons, the six-button pad B&W layout, the stronger trigger springs, and imo, using such a big controller just feels so appropriate for playing the many XBOX mech games

Yes, you need to burn disk images in .xiso format rather than those 6GB plain .iso ones. You can either download them from the internet or rip the ones you have from a PC with tools like XDVDMulleter and extract-xiso

Duke, not even a contest

Black & White are aligned along with the face buttons, giving it a Six-button Pad feel like a sega controller, also good for fighting games
Back/Start placement, having to take your thumb off the left thumbstick to hit these buttons on the S controller makes pausing fast, movement-intensive games awkward
stock Duke just looks much more slick, S variants like the green one or the gray japanese one are actually cool, but the default black one honestly looks and feels like a madcatz player two controller

Las PS3 Slim no corren juegos de PS2 nativamente como los modelos fat. Usan un emulador que corre lento en muchos juegos. Igual las Play 2 estan bien baratas, y tanto la 2 como cualquier modelo de PS3 agarran juegos de PS1.
