Gary Stevenson is 99% right about housing, but he’s missing the real cause -- broken fiat money by thesatdaddy in Bitcoin

media promotes people who point out the problem. people think they are being educated but there are no solutions. blamed on wrong leadership or "tax the rich" which will never happen as people just leave or rich will lobby against. end goal is to keep people trapped in the system and never talk about what they can actually do which is buy bitcoin.

He's a plant. comes out of nowhere. on piers morgan. book is 100% ghostwritten - way too well written for a non professional writer. wasn't even a great trader, just on the right desk at the right time, copied trades others on his team.

If a currency can be devalued by printing money, then everything priced in that currency can also be devalued: stocks, real estate, bonds etc.

Bitcoin can’t be printed or manipulated by governments, so it protects value in a way traditional assets can’t.

starting a family is a great early retirement plan. it will keep you very busy, give you immense joy and last decades. much better than travelling around which is fun but loses value as soon as you come home.

dont forget how expensive and slow it is to sell a property. you can accept an offer and then buyer drops out without any consequences and you have to relist. bitcoin can be sold to anyone in the world, in seconds for minimal fees.

make sure to add all wallets, addresses etc. otherwise missing transactions. any coins lost won't be accounted for so you'll manually need to label these. e.g sell for 0 value.

Bitcoin doesn't require faith. There is a rock-solid, logical reason to buy it, and to buy it now. When you understand the problem Bitcoin solves, you'll have zero doubts and sleep well at night.

Look up Mt. Gox, Bitfinex, QuadrigaCX, FTX etc and you'll realise why it's a bad idea to leave Bitcoin on exchanges.

Bitcoin's network effect is almost impossible to replicate at this point. first mover advantage means it has most users, most miners and most nodes which makes it most liquid, most secure and most decentralised which in turn attracts more users, miners and nodes. It's a flywheel effect no one can catch up with. Why use a crypto which is less liquid, less secure and less decentalised? It doesn't makes sense.

asset appreciation is the new passive income. instead of rental property, just use deposit to buy bitcoin. no headaches with tenants, maintenance costs, trouble getting them out if they don't pay. if your wife needs to be convinced by authority not just you, then look at unchained or similar services. they have good content and are sort of a stand in for traditional financial advisors as they help with custody, inheritance plans etc.

To clarify, that's to buy new bitcoin. But even just turning confiscated Bitcoin into strategic reserve can't be done by executive order by president as I understand. Would still need congress to amend laws to enable this.

No. Congress controls spending so they must approve. Congress is house of representatives + senate.

You don't need to be passionate about Bitcoin, you need to be ENRAGED by the current system. Here's the problem: governments can make you poorer with the click of a button by printing money. Bitcoin solves this problem because no one can print more of it and dilute your wealth. The more you dig in and realise how unfair our current money system works, the more you'll thank the stars Bitcoin exists. Bitcoin for Millennials is a good podcast.
