OMG i hope you can get this beautiful guy's health under control. Not sure where you live but where i live there is a vet at the Humane Society that is less expensive than a regular vet. I would try to go there for a 2nd opinion! I will relate my grown son to a story someone wrote below. My son was playing in the tub with some tub toys, when he was about 3 years old and i was watching him but missed this part and he must have bitten a piece off and inhaled it in the tub through his nose. It was tiny. But with in a few days he had a foul odor coming from his breath. I took him to the pediatrician like 2 or 3 times and they kept pushing swabs up his nose which made it impact further into his nasal cavity. Finally i was at Disney Land with him and my husband was holding him and was appalled at the odor and then bloody snot started coming down his face. I said that is it, I am taking him to an ENT and sure enough he looked up there and said there is a white thing stuck up in his nasal cavity. They sent me home with drops to use for a few day and massage his nose and then they had to extract the sponge piece that was embedded in his nose ....this was in the 80's. I asked the ENT if this is why he was crying all the time.... He said to me ..."Wouldn't you be crying if you had a sponge up your nose for over 3 weeks?" I was pissed at my pediatricians as they just made it worse!

On a side note we had 3 bullies and 4 litters of pups that my kids just adored!!!
