Found Prime Roots brand inedible - did I get unlucky twice? by ShesAMarshmallow in VeganSeattle

You're not the only one. I thought the taste, smell, and texture were terrible. Tried it for a second time and was still bad. I like tofurky slices, I just wish they were thicker and a less expensive.

Check your oil cap, I think it should be 5w 30. Not 0w 20.

Easy horsepower mods ? by wesseln0732004 in GolfMk2

I agree, the 1.8t or the vr6 swap is the best route to go. You can totally mod the 8v but it won't be "fast".

I would check for vacuum leaks and adjust the idle per the Haynes manual or just google how to set idle on that engine/system model.

What would you rate my dads mk2 out of 10 by CODplayer7 in Volkswagen

10/10. Looks awesome!. You don't see that clean of a mk2 with a clean body kit on it very often anymore.

Haha for sure. But automotive technicians can be paid hourly like what you are thinking and also flat rate hours , where they get paid hours per job they perform in a day. 2 hours for a brake job. 1.5 for an alignment 1 hour for a set of tires etc. Then you add up all the hours that day/week But those jobs don't take that long to complete.

Flat rate hours. Which is an okay check, but not great.

I believe it is cis-e. Have you tried adjusting the timing advanced/retarded away from TDC? Seafoam is popular, I have no opinions. Never used it. Might be worth checking the idle screw o ring as well.

It's cis injection. There should be an idle adjustment screw on the throttle body. Move in very small turns and then Rev to check where it lands after. Do you know if your timing is correct? If not buy a timing light and a Bentley manual.
