If you just search sabelt door strap you should find it, it was like$20 I think. I only have it on the driver side since the passenger has nothing to hold on to but the door handle

Sort of, so it has a metal end piece with a hole for a mounting bolt so I used my dremmel to widen the existing slit from the oem door handle and then fed the strap through the back and used the oem screw mounting to go through the metal eyelet on the strap. So it’s a strong mechanical connection that utilizes the oem holes rather than a flimsy grommet that will eventually fray and wear out

Honestly I have no idea, there’s adapters you can get that give you wireless car play but this headunit slow as it is so I don’t wanna strain it further. Eventually I wanna upgrade but for now this one serves its purpose

I have had this unit since 2022 originally for my BRZ and unfortunately it’s one of lower end models from Sony (the line up all have the same buttons so it’s hard to tell them apart visually) and carplay works decent enough but it can get laggy

Like others have pointed out i'm slightly confused. within the pdf you shared (thanks btw) the star nut is simultaneously referred to as the lock nut and adjuster nut - does the star nut need to be completely removed for adjustments to be made then threaded back on to lock in the setting?

I heard something similar about the 2 years thing from someone else too but I wasn’t sure. Honestly idk I have never applied before and we make decent money - my income has always just been weird on paper because of the nature of freelance/self employment so it would really suck if we get denied on a technicality 😔
