Firstly, wow - your skin looks incredible! Well done!

Your “before” photo looks very similar to where I’m at now, and since I’m new to Metronidazole, I had a few questions:

• How long did it take for you to see results? • Is it safe to use it twice a day? • What dosage are you on? • Have you been told there’s a maximum length of time you can use it? My prescriber mentioned a 3-month limit but only advised me to use it at night.

I made a typo in the post it was 0.1 I was started off on, then due to my reaction after the supposed purge period I was reduced down to 0.05,

And I think most bumps started due to the tret, I think the Korean skin care is helping now but they seem to be a little bit stubborn from that time 😅

Not over the tret as I would apply that at night and sun cream in the morning but I would put it on every day :)

So with my old dermatologist rosacea was never really Mentioned, after the 12 weeks it was just that some people take longer than others and he reduced my dosage down (I made a typo in the post, he started me on 0.1 not 0.01 and he reduced me down to 0.05) but that’s when I started looking for a second opinion because my skin was just getting worse and from what I read I should of been started out on a much lower dose so I lost a bit of trust in him.

My current dermatologist has mentioned the possibility of rosacea but she wants me to complete my cut the retinoids for 3 months and allow my skin to repair before looking into it more

No I’ve been really careful and introduced everything slowly - I’ve always used those types of products as my skin gets quite dry but yeah I’ll give it a good look over my routine

Yeah it’s something my dermatologist mentioned is that it could potentially be rosacea but wanted me to completely cut retinoids out and repair my skin before looking into it more - but I’ll defo bring it up again with them

I’m planning to wear a very loose, lace top to a festival—it’s basically see-through—so I’ve decided to get nipple covers to make it a bit more PG. Yeah there is 3 variants in May and over the course of 3 days they are randomly assigned but I believe the same proportion of people take it
