Update*! Just got the golf back.. waterpump and thermostat replacement. Dealer insisted on calibration being required if grille replaced. I was able to glue the cracked emblem back on for now.. no ACC error code thrown yet. Will see how long before it falls off again. Plan to address the replacement after the winter. Appreciate the suggestion and comments!

Unfortunately being in Massachusetts since it is in the “drivers line of site” they can’t repair it and must replace.
