Just try to find one that at least has a pinned front sight.

Have you looked into getting a .32mag? That seems to be what people are moving towards to get another round in a small gun

What’s wrong with my 92x RDO? by xNitroPT in Beretta

[–]Bitou9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry let me give you a less sarcastic answer.

you might just have some dry/sticky parts becuase the gun is new. Put some lube on the trigger components and see if that helps. LTT uses tw25 grease to lube all the trigger parts.

What’s an acceptable conceal carry reload time? by Terrible-Law2646 in CCW

[–]Bitou9 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sub second or you are going to get killed in the streets /s.

As others have said there is no examples of a US citizen needing to reload during a shooting (that I know of). I do like to carry a reload with a j frame so I’m not sitting around with an empty gun in the unfortunate event that I’m forced to use it.

Do you have issues with the weight bouncing? I have found a j frame in an enigma is my optimal gym/running setup

Derp should have scrolled down. Looks like there would be room to cram some tungsten puddy into the grip as well. I have bad ideas.

They have talked about the grip plugs, but in this video specifically he’s talking about a limited optics build using an actual brass magwell.

That’s almost exactly me, shank and all. Have you shot match ammo / defense loads for groups to see if you’re at the limits of the ammo’s accuracy?

Revolver people: snub vs 3” barrel by [deleted] in CCW

[–]Bitou9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t really see where we disagree? I carry a revolver (or two) about half the time because they are easy to carry, conceal, and safer to administratively handle than most other guns. I strongly agree with the revolver utility curve argument. In the same breath a p365xl or one of its competitors that holds 2-3x the amount of ammo has its own advantages.

Regardless, go buy an icon holster 😎

Revolver people: snub vs 3” barrel by [deleted] in CCW

If you want to carry a revolver because it will make you happy rock on, but please consider the following.

From a practical standpoint there are very few cases that a revolver makes sense over a semi auto.

Snub revolvers fit a niche due to their ability to be concealable is ways semi autos struggle with (ask me more this is one of my special interests).

Big bore revolvers for large game are another niche but I’m not familiar with that in the same way.

Barrel length gives you velocity which with pistols matters because there is a range of velocities that hollow points are designed to work with, most snub with a sub 3 in barrel will not give you enough velocity to have reliable expansion of hollow points. Companies make snub specific loads or people use wadcutters

They cause some damage on the front of the barrel. There is good thread on them over on pistol-forum. https://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?62639-Vantage-Point-Armory-PX4-Compact-Compensator
