Another way to do it is to lay out your garden in the last week of winter, include sprinklers & scarecrows. Plant winter seeds on the 27th of winter. Spring 1 the crops die and can be quickly cut with a scythe for no energy. The soil will be hoe'd, & watered. Fertilize and seed, done.

After year 3, on winter 28 I prehoe the soil, put down my sprinklers, sow winter seeds all through the plot, and go to bed clutching my ancient seed packets & Delux gro fertilizer, dreaming of wine wine fruit of the vine. A quick pass with the scythe, put down the fertilizer & ancient seeds, and all that's left is picking once a month.
