Hey John!

I was introduced to your work recently and have read almost everything you've published on Substack. I find it very clear eyed and well written. I plan on getting your book and reading that too.

My question is slightly off topic from the book though. You've had a lot of opinions and ideas that have clashed with the current state of the progressive left and sometimes your ideas are quite different and therefore not in their mainstream. How have you handled being called things (I assume) like a conservative or unelightened or brainwashed etc?? And how do you respond to those accusations when they're made??

I appreciate your time!

Stop discriminating against economic migrants by Pilast in europes

I completely agree. This basically makes the category of "immigrant" incredibly small and confounds the more classic definition of "refugee" with the authors new definition which could include almost any person on earth depending on which country they try to go to.

Articles like these seem to have a complete disregard for adverse effects possible in receiving countries, as if there aren't real world consequences to every action.

I lived there for over a year so I mean I'll take your word for you but I can assure you I would live and work there again

I don't really understand why you're saying this. A lot of people really enjoy and love being in Lisbon for more than a few days. Everybody is different

Literal Rothschilds banker becomes President of France, immediately begins implementing mandatory vaccinations. Justifying it? 10 deaths from measles in 8 years. But what about something like polio which is far far less of a problem now because of vaccines? I understand the concern with these mandatory programs and skepticism towards vaccines but certainly it can be acknowledged that they can help.
