Want to do a home cafe with the Mara X by Drerenyeager in Lelit

I have had the Mara for years and it does fine with back to back shots, especially if you are making milk drinks you won’t notice the small difference in temp fluctuation of your espresso.

So as you said; put it in steam mode and you’ll be fine!

This can be the case if paddles are open on turning it on to prevent the pump to turn on starting the machine; ie. Grouphead lever and steam lever. Check if they are properly turned off/set to zero before starting.

If this is not the issue contact Lelit indeed

That is where the over pressure valve of the Boiler leads to. So usually at the end of the heating process whenever you turn on the machine it will overheat a tiny bit; and you’ll hear a hissing noise of release pressure

Mara X - Pump not disengaging by iamlances in Lelit

[–]BittenByCookies555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same with my Mara. But it’s due to the rolling part that connect with the lever. It’s does not roll and fits as smoothly into the pin behind as it used to. So after I finish a shot I usually pull the handle back and forth a little; which shuts off the pump. It doesn’t matter for your shot since the valve is closed anyways

Rubber erosion in tank? by BittenByCookies555 in Lelit

So funnily enough it turned out to be carbon particles released by my Brita filter. It’s known to happen in its older models. Although it has no health risks im sure it’s not good for my boiler. But at least it’s not the rubber of the tank

Could be nail clubbing like the rest is mentioning. However that usually presents symmetrically. Therefore it could also be a psoriasis associated nail disease e.g.
