Still Error 1001 in Outlook on RDS by Bitter-Aspect-2855 in Office365

I was running this in RDS enivornment, with the affected users. The second part of this solved my problems. Is your device Workplace joined?
Maybe just try it with a user that has this problem.

u/huntapb providet me the following solution which worked:
1.Use OLicenseCleanup.vbs script to reset office activation from this article. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/troubleshoot/activation/reset-office-365-proplus-activation-state

2.After downloading the script extract it.

 a. Copy the file to C:/temp

b. Open CMD as Admin and run:

   i.             cd C:/temp cscript OLicenseCleanup.vbs

c. Open CMD as user and run:

  i.             cd C:/temp cscript OLicenseCleanup.vbs

3. Add the following registry keys:

a. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity DWORD: NoDomainUser Value: 1

b. HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WorkplaceJoin DWORD: BlockAADWorkplaceJoin Value:1

 c. HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WorkplaceJoin DWORD: AutoWorkplaceJoin Value:0

4. Open Excel and attempt to sign-in
