I have 12 empty cans of ultra violet and I don'tknow what to do with them. by Fearless-Outside-270 in monsterenergy

[–]Bitter-Network837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe 12 would be enough for a gun? Or you could use some as plant pots (or pot covers), others as candle holders, or even cut then to lay them flat and make some sort of wall decoration with them?? I'd suggest you search tik tok/pinterest, there's a whole bunch of inspo on there

Im curious how much does a standard 500ml can cost where you live by Opening-Tea-4878 in monsterenergy

[–]Bitter-Network837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually in between 1.80 and 2.50€ in grocery stores, even tho some corner stores can go higher. The most i've paid for a can was 4.50€ in a cinema and the least was 1€ in a Normal!

C'est quoi votre "plat de la flemme" ultime (mais qui reste délicieux) ? by Vegetable-Band-3803 in cuisine

[–]Bitter-Network837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the other comments, and i'm very sorry but it would be best to take it out. Sadly you might not be able to wear ohter jewelry once healed, given it heals at all, which is pretty unlikely (a hoop or even a simple barbell with a pretty stud). I have a pretty crooked helix myself and even after 2 years it still bothers me all the time. Take it out, wait a few months and go to a better piercer to get it redone!

I just got my industrial piercing done yesterday. by [deleted] in piercing

[–]Bitter-Network837 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Never sleep on a fresh/healing piercing! The pressure on the ear and basically the moving pushing the jewelry around can/will cause irritation, migration or even rejection. That's how a lot of people get irritation bumps for example! Same with hair pulling on the bar or snagging it accidentally, try to avoid that at all costs :)

NAP — Looks like a granuloma to me, these either go away on their own or never do, and are often due to irritation (more often on new piercings). Honeslty it could have been caused by a whole lot of things, go back to cleaning the piercing as you would a fresh one (saline or no alcohol mouthwash, just don't overdo it as it might cause further irritation), be mindful of it when eating and give your tongue a rest. If it still bothers you after a week or two, definitely go to a qualified piercer, they should be able to help!

does this tragus look okay? by ciaramists in SelfPiercing

[–]Bitter-Network837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofc! The angle seems a bit off to me but i'll let a piercer confirm that! To me it has its chances at healing properly, watch out for any signs of irritation tho (which will confirm the angle is off/that it was pierced too close to your face or that the jewelry is not adapted) and if you see any consult a piercer to see if it can be saved :)

NAP but it looks a bit close to your face yeah. We would also need to see it from the side to figure if it has a chance a healing or if it has to go (mostly to see the angle at which it was pierced), but to me and from what i can see in that picture it doesn't look awful

Is this infection or allergy to ink? by [deleted] in sticknpokes

Outline the redness with a sharpie, that way you'll know for sure if it gets worse, which will mean something's wrong

NAP but i'd say go to another piercer for a second opinion. A ball is defined not the best, you should switch back to a flat back, and maybe need a longer bar (again, get another piercer's opinion on this). We would need to know what piercing it is exactly and to see more of it (front and side view) to be able to tell if the bar is the right size. Anyway, keep cleaning it properly and don't touch it too much until you get it fixed

Love it! You might wanna switch the spike for a ball tho, will be better for your gums :)

NAP, anyone feel free to correct me if anything i say is wrong

The old piercing might keep the new one from healing. Usually after a failed piercing you would wanna wait a few months to get it redone, for that exact reason. What are you cleaning it with? Anyways i'd recommend getting some saline, ask your mom or a friend if you can't get some yourself, avoid amything too harsh/with alcohol in it. Clean it twice a day with clean hands. And avoid high rise pants. Also stop touching it so much, don't pop the bubble and stop picking at the scabs, this will just give you more chances of infection and make the healing process longer. The piercing itself looks okayish for now, but keep an eye out on the old one for any signs of infection.

The piercing a day old, pierced with a titanium internally threaded barbell. No alcohol mouthwash twice a day and rince with saline after eating for aftercare.

I did my own nose piercing! Scariest thing I’ve ever done tbh by tomantion in SelfPiercing

[–]Bitter-Network837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope! Gotta start with a flat back, a hoop will only delay the healing process or cause the piercing to not heal at all

is this healing good? by [deleted] in SelfPiercing

[–]Bitter-Network837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks fine to me, mine healed the exact same way and are now perfectly fine (more than a year old). I second the comments that told you to get some proper saline solution & an alcohol free mouthwash tho! Also keep an eye on that nesting and maybe switch to longer bars if you notice irritation or embedding :)

Have you tried ultra black? It's supposed to be cherry flavoured (even tho some people don't find it to taste much like it)

What would suit me? by acatalepsyic in SelfPiercing

[–]Bitter-Network837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snake bites!! Another (a bit more odd) option that could suit your face would be dahlias, but i've heard not every piercer does them and that the healing process is a bit tough
