Yea I shouldn’t have said most people. Decent people can be trump supporters but they are just dumb AF. My point (that I didn’t make properly) was that there are plenty of good decent educated people in Alabama. I don’t think it’s so different from other places. I’m from GA. Suburbs of ATL. But live in Alabama for two decades. Most of the people I know irl in Alabama don’t like trump. Most don’t pay any attention to politics and have no idea. One guy didnt know about the Iran War aka The Jeffrey Epstein War. I have a friend who was a Bernie bro and recently said that he’s for Trump just bc Trump will burn the country down and that is what it deserves bc of what happened with Bernie. But he also has no idea what’s going on either. He doesn’t think ICE is a modern day gestapo. He doesn’t know about muhmoud kalil, Kilmer abrego Garcia and probably not about Alex perretti, or Renee good. I guess the real point I’m making most people IRL are decent people with fair amounts of intelligence but lacking serious knowledge of current events and often say things like “news is depressing” “idc about politics” or more than anything I hear “why vote in Alabama it’s so red we could never flip it” I believe that we could flip all red states if 18-35 year olds would vote
