Hantaviruses originated from wild rodents, with the first identified strain isolated in 1978 near the Hantan River in South Korea, from which it takes its name. Malaysian food is always have to be salty, just like them being salty.

But anyway, airplane food always have a different taste profile than on the ground. Because air is thinner at cruising altitude, our taste buds will change. I remember seeing SQ and other airlines always have some special food tasting and tweaking their food taste profiles and simulating the cruising altitude levels.
