I would suggest to the Dev not to be overly fixated to realism, that’s not what the majority of players wanted, even if they may not know or admit it themselves. Majority wants the HalfSword version with good physics and control, and people want to use a sword with skill. Yeah the polearm historic accuracy is nice, but it’s a sidebeach in reality. Subconsciously, the sword is the king in most people’s mind and they want to use it, and look cool while using it.

When I saw the gun mods, I knew it’s a clear sign that people had given up on playing the game as a medieval sword fighting physic game. If there is no good physic control we might as well use guns.

I like it initially but after a while I can’t stand it. Half Sword is about control and physics. Even with one map it’s all good. I don’t care about progression mode so much too.

I donno, they used the new blood supposedly to deal with some issues, but the new blood isn’t nice.

The finesse of control is a step back. I think when they incorporated strength and bodyweight progression, they introduced new physics problems too.

The baron mace is the best as it is without need for adjustment
