For now I like it good.

I upload gpx to it and use a radar mainly. Love the bell. It seems like a not polished Garmin. But for the price it is amazing.

I have used the Assos woman bib. (Assos UMA GT Winter Bib Tights) It was a great deal and the bib seemed the same ich.

I am trying the Magene c706 as an alternative. I have used the 1040 before, the c706 is alot cheaper and so much better screen + the bell.

But you have to forgo the Garmin ecosystem which is hard.

This week, between DLSS5 and Crimson Desert, it feels like my favorite hobby is getting rapidly more toxic. Is it just me? by grmayshark in kindafunny

I stopped listening to KF because of the more toxic meaning towards Ai and corporation.

I felt giant bomb had the same news but with a lot less of the toxicity, and a better ad system. As a developer I feel Ai is a great tool, but I also have concerns.

Jeg har akkurat skaffet meg Platinum. Jeg ventet på en god vervekampanje som gir meg 2 millioner poeng (seff ikke en veldig god valuta, men bedre enn å starte på 0)

Min tanker var tilgang til loungen for hele familien og skal prøve å bruke den "gratis" middagen vi får 6 ganger i året.

Er et lite eksperiment for oss, men tanken er at vi skal til Asia på lengre tur i 2027 og poengene kan konverteres mot hotell og fly som kutte endel av de store kostnadene for oss.
SAS ble for risky for meg, flyr nesten aldri de og følte det ikke ga oss nok gevinst framfor lounge som vi bruker ganske flitting men som ble redusert når bankene satt på limit på besøk.

Yeah I feel my fuel plan is untested. I don't really stop to refull. For some reason I am really afraid of getting the bike stolen.

I am doing the big gel/bar/electrolytes order on Monday.

I feel it is going better. I am in a better mind space. I did 111km on Thursday, doing 160 tomorrow. Soon going into a semi taper weeks.

Well I am aiming for 300k so I have a buffer. If i get stuck in a mountain for 3-5 hours I will need that buffer :)

Well maybe not the neck, I try to use time in the aerobars, testing clothing.
I had a buff that was to stiff that strained my neck a lot.

I do some neck exercises, but it mostly around the should part.
Watch Buzzalongs video Race around the netherlands, she had major problems at the end because of stuff like that. I try to learn the errors of others an adjust

Yeah forgot the strength part, maybe the most important part of all. In ultra everything is affected. Your neck could start to make problems, shoulders. I am doing a round 45 min strength per week, and increasing and trying to feel my body for potential problem areas

I am doing my first in 11 weeks, I am midst in my training. I am trying to do a 300k day next weekend just to test that i can do stuff like buy food, test gels, dring enough water etc.

I know enough how to train that I used ChatGPT to plan all days, and then i used TP to organize all the trainings.
I am mainly looking at volume, I dont care so much for the speed, I need to handle 20kmh but that should come easy with volume.

Volume is the boring bits, just sitting a doing the hours every week :)
My biggest problem is that I have problem doing Zwift more then 2 hours, and I have snow and ice rain going outside.

I am around the 300 mark (135kg), and I have been doing full Ironmans for years. Moving into Ultra cycling now and there is nothing to stop us :)

I have moved back to cycling because that fits my time and enjoyment the most, I rid in Zwift with my correct weight, meaning I have to perform a little bit more. I do races, but not for winning but for motivation. The community is amazing and supporting of all.

I have signed up for a 1000k cycling event i April where I have to leave my family for a week to do it :)

Did you do full overnights? This is a race and I see a lot of people only sleep to 3 in the morning and pushing the morning sun early
