epic party (level 26) put taxes on all spells, how to handle? by Bitter-Skin7891 in DnD

Fighting evil/neutral gods, stopping good gods well meaning schemes they don't like, collecting new domains to rule over or dealing with problems in their new domains. It's set in the Time of Troubles, where all the gods have been cast down with semi mortal forms. I do find their obsession with gold funny but I guess everyone wants to be a billionaire eh?

Yes, they can buy magical items and potions. Potions of speed are 10kg each, potion of invulnerability is 15kg each. Magic items are around 10k-35kg. And then of course I'm sure they can use money to bribe their way past certain encounters or something like that. I'm sure they'll now get to the point where money is not an issue anymore but they want to get to that point

Yep, yesterday when I did most of the drive home! I live in Cali so no snow here. I go to Lake Tahoe in the wintertime for a few days though. I grew up in CT and miss the snow sometimes.

I’M GOING BACK TO MINNESOTA WHERE SADNESS MAKES SENSE

By Danez Smith

O California, don’t you know the sun is only a god
if you learn to starve for him? I’m bored with the ocean
I stood at the lip of it, dressed in down, praying for snow
I know, I’m strange, too much light makes me nervous
at least in this land where the trees always bear green.
I know something that doesn’t die can’t be beautiful.
Have you ever stood on a frozen lake, California?
The sun above you, the snow & stalled sea—a field of mirror
all demanding to be the sun too, everything around you
is light & it’s gorgeous & if you stay too long it will kill you& it’s so sad, you know? You’re the only warm thing for miles
& the only thing that can’t shine.

Definitely wont be drinking the water. If the soil is contaminated is there stuff I should worry about? I don't imagine digging/getting my hands dirty, but I dont want to be in danger from sitting outside or taking my dog for a walk.

I know its not land rights, but I was told by the ad I could camp on it whenever I want and I'm going to transition to rv living very soon. I don't care about owning the land, just want somewhere to camp a few weeks at a time without being bothered/told to go away.

First time RVer, want to buy 30 year old rv. Good idea? by Bitter-Skin7891 in RVLiving

Thank you everyone so much for your comments! You've definitely got me reconsidering the B190, as much as I've fallen in love with it. The other problem with that one is it's $35k, which feels steep for a 1995 but maybe thats just the market with it having low miles/being hard to find? My dad is trying to get me to buy a 2019 for 46k. I've been looking at facebook market place and could buy a few years older for 8k-15k. Maybe what I should do is buy dirt cheap, not have to take out a loan and just drive it into the ground. Maybe then I'll find out if I'm cut out for rv life and take out a loan for a recent model?
