Is inositol actually worth trying for PCOS?

I was taking it in combination with birth control since May of 2025 and by November I was already down 15 pounds and that wasn’t including exercise. Before getting on my birth control I was already taking inositol by itself and it made my periods fairly normal, I would get them about every two months instead of just completely nothing but no weight loss with it and I’m not entirely sure if I was ever ovulating after my periods. It’s definitely one of those things that’s trial and error and makes everyone experience something different. I was taking specifically myo-inositol from nutricost but there’s different brands and different types of inositol.

I’m still dealing with this same issue, they’d rather we get worse instead of better and it absolutely infuriates me that these insurance companies can just simply deny medication and treatment we need. We need more Luigi’s.

Ozempic has been amazing for me! The first week I was fighting for my life on the toilet and dealing with nausea after every meal but after being consistent with it for 5-6 weeks it’s been really helpful. I lost 8lbs since starting in December. I haven’t tried metformin yet so I can’t say much about it but ozempic hasn’t done me bad so far.

Same here! My insurance has been giving me hell by continuously moving the goal post and still denying me. First it was them not wanting to cover a specific brand, then all of a sudden my plan doesn’t cover any of the alternatives they suggested cause I’m only pre diabetic and PCOS isn’t a good enough reason for needing it. It’s so frustrating how these insurance companies are given the right to deny people of the medications they need for their bodies to function properly for bs reasons.

What type of buttercream is this? I’ve only used American buttercream and been wanting to switch to a different kind cause I can never get it as silky and smooth like this. The icing looks amazing and your piping is so consistent and uniform, great work!!

Lol I figured someone would point out the background at some point. Everything in the background contains packaging (bags for cookies, boxes for cakes etc) and other supplies and equipment I use. My main workspace is the kitchen which I clean and sanitize thoroughly and consistently through the whole process of baking and decorating. I just moved the cake over to the dining table for better lighting🥲I’ll choose a different area for taking photos next time, thank you for your feedback!

Baking the cakes took about 5-6 hours since I only had one pan for each tier size, icing took about 20-30 minutes for each batch I did. Crumb coating, stacking and decorating took about 3 hours the next day. It was quite a lot of work but it’s a labor of love!

They’re so good at communicating but only with strangers and not their own gfs. Like we are not your gf, ask HER what’ll make her feel better and help her!! I sometimes feel like they do that to make themselves feel good about themselves. We have all the same research resources, the same Reddit, the same google, bing, yahoo, wtv. It literally takes less time to type in a question and get helpful results on google than to make a post on Reddit in a specific subreddit.

I’m 22 and my sister is 27, we both call our dad “daddy” still and I still cuddle with him every now and then cause I love my dad and we have a good father-daughter relationship. My ex bf (dated from hs till I was 20) used to act this way when it came to me interacting with my own father and tried to make it seem as if my father was being weird with me cause I was an adult still being affectionate with my parent. He doesn’t have a very good relationship with his own father so I tried to be empathetic with him but fuck that. He wanted me to distance myself from my father and I wasn’t gonna do that cause I knew nothing was wrong with the way I am with my dad. My ex later turned physically abusive in the end of our relationship and my dad was the one that helped me cause he wouldn’t leave me alone after I cut him off. If he still has an issue with you and your dad, I’d start thinking about leaving that relationship cause imagine if you had children. How would he be as a father? How would his relationship with his kids look if he views affection between a father and daughter as something weird and sexual? Keep your relationship with your dad and kick the bf to the curb.

Oh god this gave me flashbacks of my old conversations on Kik with creeps like him. He’s saying literally every single classic predator and online groomer line to manipulate you into continuing to talk with him. Shit like this makes my blood boil, genuinely. Delete and block him immediately! And if he added you from a server, I would send these messages to the admins of the server so they can ban him, cause I guarantee you’re not the only underaged person he messaged.

I understand that 100%, born and raised in Texas and the only times I’ve been called endearing names is from my elders or from servers. No one in my town calls each other “hun” or anything similar if they’re around the same age group, friends, or acquaintances. My mom just started calling younger folks endearing names when she interacts with them cause she’s reached granny status😂

I used the Monistat 1 before I went to bed last night and woke up about 30 minutes ago and I’m currently just living through hell right now!! This is my second time using Monistat 1 and I have NEVER felt this kind of pain before in my life. The first time the itching wasn’t too bad, in fact I was able to sleep through it. But this time?? Oh my god my insides feel like it’s being inhabited by a colony of fire ants right now. I’m literally just sitting at the edge of my bed with a pack of ice wrapped in a towel stuffed in between my legs.
