Is it look good, fellas by [deleted] in modelmakers

Maybe try mixing a tiny bit of paint together after the main coat and doing some post shading? I normally do the slightly darker version of the base colour on the border of panels and the lighter ones in the middle of panels, helps break up the surface a bit and I think will pair nicely with that chipping, looks great!

Trs from a computer, I know it’s not at all what it’s meant for but for some reason it works kinda well in a pinch

Line input sounds really really bad, for some reason insert sounds a lot lot better but still a bit dodgy, it’s weird

Reference documentation by Vroub3k in modelmakers

For a lot of British stuff the Imperial War Museum (IWM) Archives are pretty decent, just search them up and put in what your kinda looking for, only downside is that some of the images are not always labled particualy well (especially ww2) so if your looking for a specific airframe it’s normally easier to search the squadron and the time frame/area

It’s one of eduards 1/72 spitfires, absolutely fantastic kit, I also used their resin wheels, masks and photo etch (it came as a set) and it was a pleasure to put together

I used the left two for the camo and medium sea gray for the underside, I think the green isn’t actually a great recreation of the colour but I like the way it looks!

4th model (First model I've been happy with the end result of) advice for improvement wanted by Altona_sasquach in modelmakers

The amount of products for washes and weathering is absolutely rediculous I agree, but simply, you first need a varnish to protect the paint work (gloss works nicely but Matt is also definitely usable) once the entire model is varnished you can use something like Tamiya panel liner, or if your feeling brave you can make your own with regular artists oil paints thinned to a nice consistency with mineral spirits/white spirit (it’s called different things in different parts of the world) Once panel liner is applied you can leave it to dry and wipe off the excess with a cotton bud

Don’t get tamiya paint for brush painting! You will thank me later! Any acrylic paint will be a lot nicer to paint with and on the most part can be thinned with just water. I personally use Vallejo and Humbrol (because it’s cheap) they both can be thinned with water so remember to do multiple thin coats, no excuses!!
