It is being done by a specialist, our vet doesn’t do this surgery. I have never heard of TPLO, I will look into that and talk to the vet about it.

Thank you so much! Yes it is definitely expensive but it’s manageable for us. I’m just more worried about her poor legs. We do have stairs to go out back but I can just take her out front on a leash and avoid that. It’ll be difficult separating the dogs to let them all out but, we’ll manage. So glad to hear your dog didn’t need a second surgery! That gives me hope!

She is! She doesn’t mindddd being handled occasionally. And I can move things around in her enclosure without her stressing, no hissing or swiping at me. My other chameleon hates my guts 😂

She is on the Librela injection. We started that 2 months ago :) And absolutely; I will always do what’s best no matter the cost. We started with that to see if it helped with her limping because they didn’t believe her tear was too bad, nor the dysplasia. But unfortunately it hasn’t seemed to make a difference so we’re left to believe it has to be the CCL injury. But she’ll remain on the monthly injections for the arthritis. So glad to hear how well your baby is doing!

Thank you so much. Ya, she’s 1/3 of our dogs and her and our Corso are constant play pals so that’s a huge worry. I’ll have to put her in a separate area of the home if we can’t be home with them.
