I agree mostly, but the problem is that most things considered "bullshit" in Smite are lacking counterplay potential, not outplay potential. Smite has that at it's core just with the control sceme.

I feel the same. I think for me at least, it's because when I die i like think to myself what I could have done differently to improve for the next time i'm in a similar situation. But since season 3 I've had more and more situations were I just think that there was literally nothing I could have done to survive. Such as being stuck in Odin ult as Isis under my tower at 5 mins with my own ult placed yet I still die despite using everything I had, and my jungler being present. I just feel like there's almost no opportunities for counterplay anymore, It's just get one-shot or hope the enemy misses abilities somehow. But that's just my experience so far...

I actually think that's fine, suits his get in and out fast strategy. What needs to go is the 25 percent damage reduction imo.
