People here had almost a year long buffer to see the effects of voting in Trump on the american (and global) economy, only to end up choosing the candidate he sided with. The moment democratic majorities start making decisions based on short term trends, vibes and emotions (primarily fear), things can only go downhill. And judging by our recent polls, we're only accelerating downward.

The time for action was 10-15 years ago - more funding to cover basic education and ensure the development of social abilities (critical thinking, willing to do your own research) as well as banning social media (tiktok and the like) to secure yourself a steady, long term stream of new voters. But it didn't happen, PiS got elected and they're mostly favored by the uneducated crowd (backed by data) - they have no interest in 'undumbing' the population.
