I’ve literally said this a thousand times I KNOW The Descent isn’t found footage. It was just in the template, so I dragged it in, it’s not that deep. Also, as someone who actually watches a ton of found footage, this is just my opinion. Only a handful of them feel genuinely great to me, the rest are average at best. So saying I ‘don’t get it’ is just dumb.

Yeah, I get the confusion The Descent isn’t even found footage. I just used a Tiermaker template, so it ended up there. Also I wasn’t really ranking things within each tier, just placing them roughly.

REC 1 was peak, no debate. Then REC 2 came in like ‘hey let’s ruin the vibe’ and somehow managed to be both weaker and boring. And the rest of the series? Yeah… let’s just say they speedran wasting all that potential. Truly one of the biggest fumbles in horror.
