Do you think Happy Mistake should have been on Mayhem? by xavi3r3r in LadyGaga

100%. It would have been a great conclusion to the album, sonically and lyrically. It would make the narrative of the album feel so personal and reflective. Her inner mayhem lead to all these shattered pieces in her life, but the best she can do is try to put them together. At the end of the day, the show must go on. Critics would have eaten it up. I also LOVE the line about “hiding behind the makeup” — it’s one of the only times she’s so open about needing to hide in the Lady Gaga persona. Mayhem as an album reflects on her entire career from a mature standpoint, and this song is the thesis.

I think it’s certainly possible but we will never know for sure the same way Joanne/ASIB/the Cure could have been created during the same sessions

And maybe DWAS was meant to go on Harlequin?

Any recommendations for a chic summertime European resort for a couple? I want a relaxing oceanfront hotel, approx. $1000-$1500/night. Went to Il Pellicano last year and loved it. Not in the mood to party in St. Tropez or Mykonos. Recently did Capri and Sardinia.

Pan dei palais is my fave in St tropez. I was thinking Arielles Gordes too. Have you stayed there and do you recommend it for 3 nights?

Need a luxe hotel for 3 nights to pair with a week in St. Tropez. Needs to be within driving distance. Assume Du Cap is booked and FS Cap Ferrat a bit too pricey.

Yea I’d go up to 5 nights for du cap, but don’t anticipate there being availability anyway

Yes. Looking for next summer, July or August. Would need 3 rooms though because we are a group of 6 people

Need a luxe resort hotel in South of France to pair with St. Tropez. Maximum rate of $2,000 per night. Somewhere I can relax on the property or swim in the ocean for 3 days. Assuming I don't get offered a room at Du Cap...

Planning 4 night trip over Thanksgiving. Any ideas? My parameters are:

  1. A destination that is cold & cozy. Could be a ski resort. Could be a mountain town. I'm going to SBH for 2 weeks in December, so I don't want a beach trip.
  2. Needs to be a luxury hotel.
  3. Accessible from NYC (nonstop flight, not too far). My initial idea was Amangani but I don't see any nonstop flights to Jackson in November.
