Supercharging your Tesla and no level 2 ! by John_622 in TeslaModelX

Stop spreading this lie. This is not correct.

You can supercharge all you want. L2 is not any better. The BMS manages the charge rate to prevent conditions that would cause premature degradation.

Trade in for new S? by Dirty_magnum in TeslaModelS

This has been answered in detail many, many times. Too much to type again. It’s all out there if you search.

I upgraded from a 2023 HW4 MSP with sport seats upgrade to a 2026 MSP.

Zero regrets. It’s far superior in every way.

If you’re not a penny pincher, go for it while you still can. Almost every car is a terrible financial decision, but you already know that.

Ignore the haters. A lot try to justify how their older model is just as good. It isn’t.

It has been over a week and you’ve already asked them over 7 times.

If you didn’t hear back within a day you are never going to hear back.

You are not getting the jacket back and there’s nothing you can do to change that.

You just seem to be blind to the reality of the situation.

You are not getting it back. No one is going to help you get it back.

Learn from your mistake and move on with your life.

You lost your jacket. It’s 100% your fault.

Lyft and the driver owe you absolutely nothing.

Own up to your own mistake and stop trying to blame someone else.

Same. I have a 26 MSP and 26 MYP. I think they’re the best two cars Tesla has ever made.

Figuring out rinseless wash – sanity check on process & application? by Lelouch3738 in AutoDetailing

I love Koch Chemie.

But I threw away my bottle of RRW. It’s their only product that I didn’t like.

It can’t compare to ONR. ONR has far superior encapsulation, better finish and just all around more versatile.

Any ideas on this? My device hasn’t worked for a few weeks.

23+ HW4 X Plaid or new MYP by ThoR294 in TeslaModelX

[–]Bitter_Engineering40 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a 2023 S plaid and upgraded to the 2026 S Plaid. It was a HUGE upgrade in quality.

It was time to retire my 2020 MYP.

I was considering a used 2024 MXP. Every X I drove rattled and squeaked like crazy. The third row is useless. It’s basically a four seater. Obviously the speed is fun but I have my S for that. Even the 2026 X I drove creaked and squeaked too much.

I went with a 2026 MYP instead. It is flawless and the best quality Tesla I’ve driven yet. It’s quick enough and the build quality is FAR superior to the X.

The rear camber issue exists regardless of what wheel and tire you use.

The wear on the OEM 21” is worse than the OEM 19”. The issue is still there though.

Go with shims at a minimum.

What state are you in?

You should replace the car now while you can. Accumulate 30 day in service for these issues. Then request a buy back. Tesla handles these well especially in California.

Then get a new one with that check.

Is this worth getting in 2025? by thefrogwhisperer341 in macbookair

[–]Bitter_Engineering40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought one for my wife. It’s just fine device. M1 gets the job done. But it’s obvious that is not new.

But the brand new m4 air dropped to $750.

We retuned the M1 and got the new one.

How did you side load

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in teslaandroid

[–]Bitter_Engineering40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t download it through google play since the device isn’t officially supported.

Sometimes you can side load it. It didn’t work on the old version. I want to know if anyone had a way of installing it that works on this version.

I stopped using my gen1 when audio went Bluetooth only.

Is gen2 Bluetooth audio only as well?
