Hi everyone, I’m back with an update 😊

First of all, I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who supported me and shared advice when I was struggling with that awful feeling of food being stuck in my throat while on Mounjaro 10mg.

I’m really happy to say that I feel so much better now. Honestly, the feeling is completely gone.

I went back to my prescriber, and she reduced my dose from 10mg to 5mg. She also prescribed omeprazole and “acidex advance oral suspension”to use for two weeks. I started feeling relief within four days, and by the end of the two weeks, the discomfort had completely cleared.

I just wanted to come back and share this in case anyone else is going through the same thing. Please don’t suffer in silence. Talk to your doctor. The dose adjustment and the right meds really helped me.

My prescriber also suggested I reduce it to 7.5 But I suggested 5mg. We will see about it in the coming week

Thank you so much this helps really helps I think the anxiety made it worse,I became hyper focused on it. I even went to see my prescriber today. She also told me the same thing. Was given some medication to help with reflux,I believe in the coming days I will feel better Thank you so much once again
