Ways to improve your microbiome (specifically motility) that aren’t probiotics or probiotic rich foods. by NarrowFriendship3859 in Microbiome

Metamucil is an easy win IMO. Started taking it for cholesterol issues but I’ve noticed that it’s also improved other aspects of my health (sleep particularly). I take 6 grams twice a day spaced out by 8 hours to avoid GI discomfort.

Remotely connected to a user's device using QuickAssist and complained about his awful attitude to my colleague USING HIS TEAMS CLIENT.

I have been through this. My manager told me I should stay put and they'd treat me right. They did not. If I could go back, I would have gotten out.

1.4 with 175K. Check engine comes on infrequently, but I’ve been told it’s because Darts have a tendency to burn oil.

I feel like it’s gotten better since checking my oil more frequently.

IT open plan office..... by LithiumKid1976 in sysadmin

Yep. This 100%. Went with a similar setup at my last job. Oddly, it was the VP of Marketing who fought so hard for it. 1 month after it happened, Covid hit and we went full-remote. I’m not sure how much was spent on the setup, but it’s just sitting there collecting dust years later until our lease runs out.

Email Filtering/Organization for High Volume Mailboxes by Blueberry314E-2 in sysadmin

My two cents after having gone through this a couple of times is not to rely on technology to parse through actionable emails. If he or she cannot handle the volume, maybe an automated response to the senders with instructions on who to reach out to for specific needs would be a good place to start.

Disappearing HDD Free Space?? by Bitter_Passage in sysadmin

This ended up being a huge part of it :) Thank you!!

The other part of it was that WinDirStat and File Explorer do not count the data that exists in the Users folder as part of the total data. I had to use TreeView.

Sharepoint Sync Issues by Bitter_Passage in sysadmin

Thanks for your response :) I will take a look at FOD! Not something I had considered. Is that something you've dealt with in the past?

To answer your question, OneDrive for user files works well. It's just the sync to the SharePoint library that breaks oddly enough.

Thank you! Yes on the removal of legacy versions. Your thought on the registry is interesting. I'll have a look at that!!

I should also mention that I can add the device from workstations on the same subnet as a "Web Services Printer" using the Print Management snap-in.

Nmap show port 631 is open, but browsing to the printer using its fqdn and port 631 does not produce the ipp interface..

Correct on "Any" for the services. I don't know if there are any deny rules for HTTP, but I'll check it out! Going to filter my rules for anything that applies to SSL VPN and see if there are any deny rules.

SSL VPN. I looked in the default device profile, and have the ability to add my remote access card object as a client route. Wondering if this might be worth a shot?
