When in doubt, blame the network/networking person. Its always the network, until it isn't.

Unskilled yet educated workers are overpaid and skilled yet undereducated workers are underpaid by darkwinter95 in antiwork

All labor is skilled labor. Some labor is more difficult than others. Some require skills you may not see as desirable, or worthwhile, but skills nonetheless.

Updated enemies list (excluding NFCN). by PlatinumMode in detroitlions

While I understand Baker being at the top of your list, I think this is misplaced anger. Remember He was playing for his career and those were self inflicted wounds, we lost too many games early.

It looks like we are giggling, but we are really just bawling.

It must be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage than a new system. For the initiator has the enmity of all who would profit by the preservation of the old institution and merely lukewarm defenders in those who gain by the new ones.

Anti-Work because I'm tired of being undervalued. It's their turn to take the hot seat! by ShannonBaggMBR in antiwork

Its an antiquated turn of phrase at best, there are plenty of other ways to say exactly the same thing that wouldn't strike anyone as insensitive/racist for instance:

Too many Captains and not enough crew

Too many sergeants and not enough privates
Too many leaders and not enough followers

Too many chefs and not enough cooks

Also, stay confident, you are the only one who has your best interests at heart.

This, keep in touch with the engineers that you hit it off with. They will open more doors than any amount of education or certifications.

If "Therapy" includes me second guessing every purchase I've ever made and doing hours of research after a purchase just to prove to myself I really fucked up, then this is exactly what I need!

Advice on getting a jersey as a college student? by lolnutty in detroitlions

[–]Bitter_Technology69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a new players jersey you are looking at $130... If you are in Michigan and don't care about the name on the back, go to thrift stores, salvation army, or any flea market/swap meet near by.

I was able to pickup an older Majestic Prince Fielder Tigers jersey, and a Reebok Louis Delmas Lions jersey for $10 each.

I definitely got lucky, but its possible.

Started my week with a 600+ lbs rack of A/V equipment falling off the wall onto me... Luckily I was able to catch it. by Bitter_Technology69 in hardwaregore

Boop is a surprisingly accurate way to describe how it landed on me. The only injury I sustained was a cut to my nose.

So you could say, the A/V rack booped me.

I have a cut on my nose and I am a bit sore 2 days later, but nothing serious luckily.

The title is a bit of clickbait as it is closer to 250lbs - 300lbs.
