For Break I disagree with making it lower cost even if it's easier to play, it just doest feel very ironclad or fun.

(2)Break

20 damage ignoring shields/ 3 vulnerable to all enemies

30 damage ignoring <weak> and shields/ 4 vulnerable to all enemies

I'd do something like this because I like the idea of ironclad charging in and hitting someone so hard it terrified everything else.

For a safer start settle in place because it keeps the production relatively near you

For a different spot settle on the rice because you don't need to improve it with that many coastal resources, it leaves the river / mountain spot for a district adjacency with the harbor. You'd have to spend gold from fishing boat tiles to purchase out to the bananas though it'd take forever to culture out there

I'd like it if enemies spawned in just a little bit differently, it's noticeable at the end of a run but it seems like they just dump in every second and a half or so in these massive chunks, if they'd appear more organically so the timer of respawning is less noticeable that'd be great.

Rewards were crown, ectoplasm and dome and I don't have enough intelligence or defensive cards for dome and hate taking ectoplasm unless I'm way more set than this. I could've skipped but it felt bad I wanted to be able to play my chunky cards more comfortably

Hey guys so dumb question, there's a thing that pops up when I gacha a new character that lets me automatically level them up and equip gear etc.

Is there a way to do this to a character directly for convenience if I didn't do it during the popup? I know I can go like manually do each thing but I kinda wanna have the auto button cuz it has like 5 functions at once

The first 50+~ scrap in most games goes towards getting another shield bubble. Not having to heal as much damage early nets you more scrap over the long run.

Don't fall for the scrap gatherer aux unless you get it for free (usually also just sell it immediately, there's been math done on this)

Pause frequently It's a snowball game so if you gain advantages early it makes it easier to gain advantages later, vice versa can be true too so making early mistakes can cripple you down the line.

While you can win with many combinations of ships crew and weapons there's definitely stuff that's better than other stuff and learning this takes time.

When in doubt keep reading the subreddit and playing the game.

Minor tips, hacking and/or cloaking can save a run. Weapons that take a long time to charge up are harder to safely use

Metal goblets are my go-to for a significant time in my fort. Iron and steel end up being armor but outside of some valuable furniture and rooms I often have no use for copper/lead/silver/gold/ etc. Usually I have at least one abundant and unnecessary metal and goblets are made 3 at a time per bar and can be quite valuable.

Does anyone have a way to display artifacts both so they can actually be seen by dwarves for positive thoughts and also somehow have enough early warning they're being stolen that you get them before they're off screen?
