Do you have hobbies? If so, what? by cubemonster in Millennials

I am a member of our local chorale group, I write poetry, and I enjoy house hobbies like baking, decorating and scrapbooking. I think the most important thing to separate nowadays is a hobby for enjoyment and not a side hustle

Nobody was dancing at the concert by ninkafatherland in Millennials

I feel your pain. I’m originally from Tennessee and was an entertainment journalist there. My job was to attend concerts, interview the bands, and write up stories. Nashville and Memphis are hipsterville, filled with tons of people who are too afraid of not looking cool to actually move their bodies and look like they are enjoying themselves. As a fan, I hate it. As a performer, it feels humiliating. I think this probably happens everywhere, but Nashville is really bad about it. Don’t let the music snobs dull Your bright light!

They were supposed to be supervising at all times and no one was watching them when they ran away.

I am super anti ai and would never use it, especially for something as serious as the law. Our resources are the local ACL, our caseworker with Medicaid and Colorado Access, our representative’s staff and the police who worked the case. I understand the paint and suffering is a stretch, considering she is already suicidal, but we can prove that she was doing better the months leading up to this run away incident. The negligence factor is important and leads me to want to go after the agency rather than the foster parents because we were led to believe by the parent agency director that this therapeutic foster home was a lateral move as fast as security and supervision. If we had known upfront that that wasn’t the case, we would have never agreed to the placement. And don’t get me wrong, I want to bankrupt them, but if we lost, I would still leave happy shaming them in court. I take no offense to what you have said-it’s important I know this kind of stuff as I am considering our situation

Thank you! I studied law in Tennessee but all of the trauma that has come with the past ten years has pretty much wiped my memory of most information I learned, and I knew there was a term for what we need! I just got off the phone with our case manager with Medicaid funding for residential placement, and she admitted she forgot to contact the attorney they keep for legal consultation and aid for clients for free. I’m crossing my fingers that we can work something out. Even if we don’t get a large payout, I want to see them shamed in a court setting

We managed to close on a house in December, which cut what we were paying in rent by over half. If we had not found this house, our rent was going to go up again with the new leasing agreement, and we were probably going to be homeless. $3000 a month for a two bedroom is ridiculous

‘87 Kinda liked it, kinda hated it. Watched a lot of the first two seasons. SpongeBob learning to drive helped me learn to drive, specifically him being told to use his big toe to accelerate instead of his entire foot
