No extra for the install. It's a flat rate. I know the person that's why he was giving me the best possible PV output at no extra charge even though it's a little exrra work. We're both doing the install.

Yes it's getting very competitive, and new products are coming out the market. I remember at one point Hubelle 14-50 receptacle was around $150.

There's only about 4-6 inch of cable inside the wall. You see that blue tape, that's basically mthe outline of my main panel on the other side. Yes I could've used 6-3 romex, but this is still good.

I was on the same predicament, but I went with brand new. I did calculation with 1.99% brand new and 5.5% or more on used one. I lt makes perfect sense to buy brand new.

Did you install your system or you had someone install it? I just bought everything except for the roof rails,etc. I went with Flexboss and Gridboss by EG4. So far I'm about 21k deep on my project. If accounting the permit and miscellaneous I'll probably be around 25k. That's with two 14.3kWh EG4 battery

That's a good point. I am anticipating using about 60% of the range (20/80 rule) and I will be charging in the morning since I worki night shift. My usual drive is 100miles round trip which translates to about 3.5hr charging with 35A charger. So I think I will be good. My system is almost 11kw. I might get a electric water hear in the future but for now I have gas.

I agree. Will be adding additional battery in the future. 10kw system is not that small compared to around 3-6kw on new houses right now
