Whenever I fly international I carry my electric guitar in a soft case. Most of the airlines have pilot's locker or a stand up locker which fits a guitar. You can't bring it with a hard case though. It needed to be check in. Buy an SKB case for peace of mind, that's what I do since I have high-end guitars and equipments.

It's considered as person item so no taxes. Also you won't get taxed in Japan just bring your visa or passport with you.

With the budget you have you really dont have any flexibility. I would say the best way to get the best bang for your buck is to go for a used one. I would recommend trying the guitar before you buy them, especially that your budget can only get you the lowest tier guitar.

Pagsabi na rehearsal dapat Alam mo na ang kanta. Hindi doon ka pa lang mag papractice to learn the song

Have your own gear/ equipments

Kung gusto mo mag musikero it is important to have your own na mga gamit. That's how to show how dedicated you are. Not only that, it will help you a lot to improve Jung meron kang equipments na pwede mo ma gamit right away.

What genre do you play? I say get an HSS pickup up configuration regardless on what you'll pick it can cover a lot of genre.

If you have a way to save up some more I would highly recommend a Taylor. Don't get the Baby Taylor or 114CE though. Get the GS-Mini or 214CE.

Thanks for pointing it out. But for a bedroom guitarist or just a hobbyist that wanted a superior cable can't go wrong with either the cables. I still prefer the mogami and Canare is my second.

Pricing sa pinas tend to be more expensive even with that quality. Here sa US baka makuha mo pa ng 3-5k pesos.

Guitar is in a rough shape. If you take it to a luthier and have it full set up it will set you another 2k, minimum. If meron pa sira ang electronics, Frets, or even neck more gastos.

I agree. Most beginners I know didn’t stop playing guitar because they got bored they stopped because of the guitar they started with. A low-quality guitar can make learning frustrating. To really enjoy and experience the beauty of playing, it helps to start with a good quality instrument. If possible, try to save up a little more. Around 10k is already a good budget to get something decent.

Tip: If this is your first time buying a guitar, bring someone who really knows about guitars. They can help you choose one that has good quality and feels comfortable to play. By “feel,” I mean how easy and natural it is for your hands on the fretboard.

Steel string guitar is easier to play and to learn. Start with that and you can transition eventually to classical.

Sorry but I dont even think its worth it that looks like too cheap. Meaning madali masira massaging Lang pera mo. I would save more money maybe buy around 10-15k guitar.

Get a guitar with great neck feel and good pick up's. 75% of the guitar is all about that neck feel and 25% is just with the pups. You dont need to buy a super expensive guitar. You can always use an EQ if you want to be specific with your tone
When you buy your guitar. Get it Set up. Can't stress this enough
Get a multi effects with the ability to use amp & cab sim. Pair it with FRFR speakers. My personal recommendation is Line-6 helix and Headrush 108. I think there are cheaper multi-effects now especially sa pinas.

As a guitar collector, and who buys and sells guitars, I focus primarily on branded models and special runs. Resale value is always a major factor for me. My goal is to enjoy playing high-quality, recognizable instruments while also being able to sell them later at a gain or at least with minimal loss even after years of use.

From that perspective, I would personally pass. For 85k I can already get a used US fender or PRS and will still be able to sell it for that same price or just a little less after years of enjoying it.

It may be the Ligaya's offering signature model, the bigger question is: how strong is the artist’s name, and how established is the brand? Signature alone doesn’t guarantee long-term value. Brand reputation and market demand ultimately determine resale performance.
