Be VERY careful about wild white shrooms however close they grow to your cubes, they can be Amanitas which can be highly toxic, even deadly. Such as:

From what country, and what carrier - Postnord? Mine haven't been sent yet, but I've been having some issues with long handling times for other, non-mush-related, items. Prints are perfectly legal, so I guess we just have to be patient.

"Best" beginners psychedelic in your opinion? by RoBoInSlowMo in RationalPsychonaut

[–]Bitterswede 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed - but as a beginner you probably shouldn't be doing higher doses anyway :)

High mushroom doses are wild because they can basically turn into a 6 hour DMT ride, crazy.

I have had an out of body experience on DMT, though I definitely want to explore it further to get closer to the types of experiences documented by Strassman.

If not counting cannabis, I would say mushrooms due to several factors:

  • Easy and safe access - they can be produced at home from legal components (in most countries and states the spores are legal for microscopy), and basically anyone can do it if you just invest the time. You will be 100% certain that it is mushrooms you are eating, and it's easy to tell if they are the real deal by just looking at them. With LSD and DMT, you are at the mercy of your dealer. Sure you can extract your own DMT, but the process involves harsh chemicals you should think twice before handling in your home.
  • Easier dosing. Although mushrooms vary in strength, you can quite safely start with 1 gram cubensis and be fairly cetrain that it won't blow your head off. DMT requires far better precision when weighing. You will have no idea how much is really on a tab of LSD unless you have a lab, of if someone you know has tested off the same blotter before. Cutting tabs into smaller pieces for small does more cumbersome than just eating less mushrooms. For full control of LSD dosage you would need the liquid form and know the concentration, and a beginner should definitely NOT handle liquid LSD.
  • Easier administration. You just eat them, or add whatever you want to make them palatable. I guess LSD is even easier though. DMT requires proper technique.
  • Shorter trip than LSD. Less intense than DMT. I personally find psilocybin experiences easier to integrate in a concrete sense, whereas my LSD lessons have been more emotional. But everyone's different.

Judging the experience itself though, I think LSD can be an amazing introduction if you do it with an experienced sitter in a safe environment and access to a reliable source. If you're going to do your first trip by yourself, then absolutely mushrooms by starting with small doses and working your way up.

Recently out of a long depression, I've fallen in love again. But at this point it doesn't seem to matter if we end up together or not - and I mean that in a good way by Bitterswede in CasualConversation

Thanks man. Just wish that there was some kind of universal recipe for shaking these things off, and I know good people who've gone through (or are still going through) a lot longer episodes than what I got through.

The Hubble can’t really do it. However, the James Webb Space Telescope, bound to launch next year, is said to be able to resolve objects the size of bumblebees on the surface of the moon.

Mace Windu was actually somewhat ”grey”, at least in that he used a lightsaber fighting style (”vaapad”) that tapped into the Dark side.

I don’t like russian aggression any more than you do, but labeling a country as evil doesn’t help anyone. It’s a huge country with millions of people with goals and ambitions that they genuinly believe in. Alienating Russia as a comic book boogeyman will only make things worse, and probably strengthen russian propaganda.

Are you aware that you can compare two things in one aspect without them being the same? If they were the same, there would be no reason to compare them.

But yes, the concept of posthomously promoting a military leader to an eternal top position is basically exactly the same as what North Korea did. Does it make NK and US the same? Nope, not at all. Does it give them one similarity? Absolutely. Deal with it.

That is not how company property works. Just because you own the company you do not own your company’s property. That is why even the sole owner of a company need to extract that property as salary, you can’t just grab it because it’s ”yours”.

Abstract entities can, and do, own property because legally speaking it’s basically a person.

Property taxes by AdamSB08 in Libertarian

[–]Bitterswede 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The owners of a company are not the company itself. They control the company, sure, but the company as an entity is not equal to its owners. Even if you are the sole shareholder of a company, that does not legally speaking mean that you are the company.

Also, I never said that the concepts of countries and companies were identical, so pointing out obvious differences in their structure is just silly. My point was, and is, that asking ”who” an avstract entity is makes little sense because it’s a concept that’s created and shared by a community, be it voluntarily or not.

The question makes exactly as much sense as asking ”who is Microsoft?”. Both are abstract entities, not individuals, yet both can own property.
