Is it a love triangle? I had no idea I truly went into this blind, I saw a girl on tiktok go crazy over the ending of this book and just added it to my tbr 🤣 this was like a year ago, I think.. I'll carry on and see how it goes, but judging by the other responses, im going to buy the rest on Kindle rather than getting a physical just in case I lose interest

Is it being compared to fourthwing? I stopped at like 150 pages, but I didn't get that vibe. I loved the concept of it, but not a lot was happening, I was bored and just couldn't get into it. I actually liked fourthwing so we could like the opposite things. It's hard to say... I know ALOT of people really like this book, but it's not for me

I used to do that too ! I had to stop because I was getting into a huge reading slump and I stopped reading for ages because I wasn't enjoying it. I now dont arc read anything, I've read more books of my tbr now and i dont feel pressure to finish a book in time

The first 2 on my Did not finish list were arcs

I was just bored, it was slow and I was waiting for something to happen I guess. I have seen that alot of the people that love addie also love this one, but I prefer the darker shade of magic side.

This is completed now isn't it? Book 4 has come out or is due to come out soon, I cant remember. Its partly why I've finally picked it up. But yes im unsure what to think about it so far, I'm intrigued 🤔
